Possibly but nothing moves the 49er fan base's needle like the notion of a "#1" big-body WR. I don't know if it's the nostalgia or what, but this fan base is obsessed with big-body WRs. That's why I expect DK's stock to skyrocket to astronomical proportions around here after he cements his elite, big-body athleticism.

Every year fans try to compare, even crown, every random ~6-3, 225 lbs WR as the next Julio Jones. Unlike those guys, DK Metcalf may fit the bill.

From the games i watched he didnt play to his size.

That said, i do like his game. I just dont think his size really is relevant to his game.

He's a good WR that happens to be 6'3 225.

He plays more like Moss than T.O. IMO

I'm not a big fan, but I do understand the intrigue. I think it is justified in this case. The kid is a freak.
