I mean Corey Davis, Mike Williams and John Ross all went in the top 10 not long ago. DK has got nearly all their strengths combined (minus Corey's route running) dude is going top 10.

If he's anywhere near #36 I'd take a flier even in our offence that isn't ideal for him, if you can't use someone like that you don't know what you're doing (Ole Miss OC I'm looking at you)

While I get all that talk about bust potential and all that, but if Metcalf is on the board at 36, he has got to be in the conversation. While people can argue he may be too much risk in the 1st round, but surely they will have to come to their senses and realize they will have to take him at some point. A prospect this gifted can only fall so far. And at 36, one could argue he would be a bargain.

The word is 9ers is hot on Harry, but seriously that guy is slow.

Some might have seen my posts on another thread about what to do if we trade down. First of all, let me declare for the record I am for trading down and I didn't write the latest article featured in the news section. LOL. But, one of my ideas that I posted is to concede on Metcalf in the 1st round (say for example if we trade down and end up with 2 x 1st round picks) and we go TE with 12 personnel. I doubt anyone would dispute or even argue that wouldn't be a far safer pick say in the teens. This year's TE prospects are fire, especially Kittle's Iowa alum. I know people have written about Fant, but TJ Hockenson is a complete beast too.

So, imagine this, in the 1st round we get an EDGE (Sweat/Burns/Ferrell) and we get say TJ Hockenson/Fant, followed by Metcalf at 36. Wow, just wow, can you imagine what would that do to our offense? That would be crazy!!

Or, (I can be a reasonable guy), if there are too many haters out there on Metcalf, then you take say Deebo at 36, but then you will have to give me a second WR pick and we take that big, outside WR with one of the 6'5" guys such as Shawn Poindexter or Jazz Ferguson in the lower rounds. I don't think I can get any more flexible than that.

I'd be shocked. I think they are going to look heavy at Devin Bush. After all the defections, it has to be a front 7 defensive player.

I don't think he makes it down that far

It only takes one team... and that one team will be top 17. Boook it.

4.53 is not slow. It may not be 4.33 fast but it is a faster 40 time than Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Juju Smith-Schuster and Anquan Boldin all ran. It is just a hair slower than AJ Brown ran and a hair slower than Larry Fitzgerald.

His speed would not be a problem in the NFL. And we already have a guy who can take the top off of a defense in Goodwin.

Yes, this would be the ticket. Trade down and get:
1a. Sweat or Burns or Allen
1b. Hockenson or Fant
2a. Metcalf or Brown or best WR

I'd bet good money that Metcalf and Brown will be long gone before our second rounder. Although that would be awesome if it did.
If we trade down, I'm taking 2 OL after the our DE

We get our 1st round EDGE, another catching TE plus a big, outside WR. Can you imagine that?! We would be absolutely scary on both sides of the ball, period!!
I think he'll go to the bills at 9 and I would love the fit. Pair him and Josh Allen together in Buffalo, and it will really help them out by forcing teams to cover the whole field like the Chiefs. That's where my money is at.

I could totally see that
Future raven

Giants should take him at 17 then trade for Rosen.
