DK Metcalf

It's a risk, but it's only a 2nd round pick.

That's not "only". It's a very valuable pick that the Niners absolutely HAVE to hit on. Not take a flyer on a combine freak who can't play the game.It would be a different story if it were at really late round . . . and even then.
Pass!

He can't play the game? The dude averaged 21.3 yards per catch his last year and averages a touchdown every five catches. He can play. He just is not a do-everything wide receiver. He's a specialist, but he's darn good at what he specializes in.

I'm with 5 rings, another big thing is that the Offense was trash, if DK didn't go down we'd have never seen him take an outside snap.

The entire passing offense would fit on one page of Madden
where's rascal saying DK was a top 10 pick?

I didn't think he would drop this far, but apparently the lack of film and route running is kinda an issue. I don't see him being the pick if there, wouldn't hate it either because he does have a role at the next level, he's not a complete WR though.
Too much of a risk for my liking, we need to absolutely hit with this 36th, we will not be drafting this high for a long time
I wasn't sold on him as first round talent. But doesn't he check alot of the boxes for what the 9ers are missing at wr? Alot of people on here wanted Lynch to pay Allen Robinson 14 mil a year couldn't you get basically the same player in DK?

Checks boxes 49er fans think we are missing. Checks none of the boxes Shanny looks for.

I like his potential because it's def there. But from what we've read about his dealings with us and more importantly the other quality players that will be available at 36... i doubt we pick him. O-line, secondary and plenty of other WR will be there.

This is exactly when teams fxxk up in over-reacting to his 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle. I said he would be a top 10 pick that was based on multiple mocks that had him going to the Bills at 9. So, in the end 2 WRs made it in the 1st round, Marquise Brown and Harry. And if I have to pick between them and Metcalf, I will still pick Metcalf any day, period!!

Is almost laughable that all of a sudden as if people are regarding him as the worst WR in the draft. It takes a team with vision that cuts through to pick a talent like Metcalf because of his extremely high ceiling. Metcalf's only mistake was he ran the 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle which Megatron never ran because he knew he would have been bad at it too.

No doubt he is still raw and will require some coaching to polish him up from a rough gem to a diamond. I have looked at his film again, you cannot buy that unique combination of speed, size and strength no matter how you want to cut it. If the word is he fxxked up his interview with Lynch and Shanny because may be he was defensive and things got heated up, then too bad it would be our loss. A good GM and HC should be able to see beyond that.

So, I am just going to post another clip of his for people to take one last look at his abilities. If people are still going to hate, then people are going to hate.

If the brain trust still doesn't like him, then too bad, but I will still take someone with size. I am not the only person who believes in that direction, I have heard many analysts who have also called for size. And having looked at the film again, I would go for Hakeem Butler, that would be my final choice of WR. I am not saying a guy like Deebo is bad, he is very good with YAC, but at merely 5'11" I want a different type of WR than what we already have.

But everyone through lynch under the bus for not paying Robinson and now that he is there for much less salary every one says he doesn't fit kyles profile? I am not saying they must draft him but all the arguments I have seen on here since last year about Robinson, DK definitely should be in the conversation for the pick.

Robinson is a good receiver
Metcalf is a good project

Honestly would take Kelvin Harmon over both Metcalf and Butler. But would take AJ Brown above all!!
