Dez was considered a better prospect than Crabtree who came out the year before to go along with Velcro hands. Had he not been suspended he would of taken the top WR award that year.

Landry and Beckham are both pretty good receivers in the NFL. Does it matter which one was the number one in college? There's no rule that says only one of those receivers will be good. Before DK went down from injury Brown had 650 yards and 4 td's. DK had 569 yards and 5 td's. There wasn't a huge gap between them this season. Brown exploded after he got hurt which he should do because he's a great prospect.
It's fair to say DK never put up #1 production, largely due to injuries, but that's why he fell. Josh Gordon had 700 yards in college. It's not end all be all.
