Quinnen Williams, DT Alabama

Go look at the film man, Thomas has been getting doubled plenty. Buck has 6 sacks in 5 games since Thomas moved inside. He's helping setup stunts for Marsh who had two sacks last game as well.

I think Solly will do better at Big End.

on base downs as a edge defender sure, he's not a edge rusher. He doesn't have the skill set to beat tackles, just doesn't.

He can beat guards and centers though and has shown it over the past 5 games.

So, do we move Buck to NT and put Solly at DT?

you can have two 3-techs in nickel (which is what most teams playt out of). Buck is a 3-tech in base we got Jones at NT. we get a new LEO and Thomas as a big end IN BASE.

Buck can play NT just fine if we want Thomas in at 3 in certain packages.

What I'd like to do (if we can't get Bosa ) is go after Graham in FA, he's our base LEO. We can grab a Polite/Burns in a trade down (nickel rusher) who's job is to get sacks yr one. Throw Thomas inside on those passing downs next to buck (like we've doing) and watch the QB hits come

I would put Buckner on the edge on passing downs with Solly and Williams on the inside. Right now they're leaving Buckner on the inside because they don't have anyone else that can rush the passer beside Thomas. Williams would change that.

Buck has 12.5 sacks as a elite 3-tech and you want to put him on the outside? If anything they'd put Buck on the outside right now because we have dogs**t on the edges...you got it backwards man.

U don't weaken the DT spot to move Buckner to the outside this season. U can move Buckner on passing downs if u have Williams and Thomas inside.

This could be kind of fun from time to time to change things up. That is a lot of size and power for any OL to take on. Put a guy like Graham or Winovich on the other side...

I might even start to feel a little bad for opposing OLs.

We create a lot of options if we draft QWill.
My thinking is u simply can't go wrong with Quinnen Williams at #2. He's that talented. You draft Williams at #2 and I still think u can grab a Burns,Polite, or Sweat with the high second round pick.

This would be a SF move, let's take a dominant 3-tech coming off a pro-bowl caliber yr and push him outside as a edge rusher so we can draft yet another DT. We'd have the slowest pass rush in the league lol
