Tone down that arrogance...if you make statements out of the blue don't expect people to read your mind and then act all high and mighty when they can't follow your train of thought.

Your opinion isn't worth any more than an anyone else on here so relax.

Is this the part where when I reply to your Dad-like instructions (as if your tone is Mother Theresa-ish on here).. .the mods come and warn me to to stick to the posts?

Again...not going to tone anything down...your bff or not. He gave a silly post with no substance...he got 1 back. Dont like it, ...simply ignore.

As smart as you pretend to be you can't follow along apparently.

His post wasn't silly...you said a random comment(fitting) without any context or quoted post to figure out what you're talking about "having both ways". So how are people supposed to know what you mean?

But you're right. Ignoring makes sense since your posts do nothing but condescend and not offer anything new to the conversation.

I remember Stubby outplayed BY, but that defense was unique in how the DT lined up.

When it was time to attack, they keyed into the gap and lined up almost sideways to shoot the center guard gaps. Both of them could simply beat the offense with first step. Any given down RBs had to make the first guy miss behind the LOS.

In a few years. There was only 1 season where both had over 6 sacks. Typically one would have 10 the other 3.

I made that call a while back, and he wasn't on my nuts at all. I come here for fun. When people make it seem like work, I use the ignore feature. Let them scream into the void. They can win all the one sided arguments they want. Doesn't matter to me.

Agree. That 1994 team was the weakest defense out of all the 5 super bowl defenses we had, in my opinion. You need a Deion or another Sherman back there to give the DT's time to sack the QB. While at edge, you still need the DB's but now if you add Bosa, *and* with Buckner already in place, you multiply the effect of the edge rusher drafted vs. the DT drafted. I love QB's who get hit blindside, there is a tremendous potential for a turnover in that instance. Turnover >>>> vs Sack, any day.

I don't agree with this They had one REALLY bad game before Dion was settled in. Post Dion that was different animal. Statistically they were a better defense 88. They also did not bring back Tim Harris until late that season if i recall correctly. He was our oh crap its the playoffs and we need a pass rusher that we kept on speed dial. Tim Harris gave that team 6 or 7 sacks to close out the year and in the post seasons. He was average over a sack a game in the playoffs and real world 3rd down pressure. Tim Harris's playoff run was better then any post season run we got Aldon Smith. When you factor in that team scored at will that seasons, and DID give up a ton of garbage time points its hard to make a case they were WORSE then 88 team.

From a flexibility standpoint, peak 94 is one of the better "elite" defenses of the NFL. They were not a shut down defense, but was any team other then 82 really a shutdown defense over the course of a season.

They were not a bad defense by any means, bu that nascar offense hid a lot of defensive weakness. Pass rush wasn't as dominating as the other 4 superbowl wins, and that was the most scored points on a 49 superbowl defense where we won the game. Without deion, that defense would not have gotten us past dallas.

I really don't want to put anyone on timeout for the next 30 days but I will. Its fine to debate, the personal stuff has got to go. If you can't say something nice.....you know the rest.

Gun to your head who do you want between Q and Bosa?

Don't make me choose. Its like when the Suns had the #1 pick in the draft the past offseason. My brain said DeAndre Ayton, he was the obvious choice, consensus #1 player and would fill a HUGE need for a franchise that never had a true star center. My heart said Luke Doncic. Something about him that just screams "IT!", a very passionate guy with top end playmaking ability and basketball IQ. But then again, Phoenix already had plenty of wings.

Now we stand here in April and Ayton looks like he'll be a really good player for a very long time but Doncic was a triple double machine, will be ROY and a future superstar.

Similarly, my brain says Bosa, my heart says QW. I expect both of these guys to be very good NFL players for a long time, I just see that special something extra with QW, even if he isn't at a particular spot of need.
