Falcons beat Bucs
Browns beat Ravens
Broncos beat Chargers
Cowboys beat Giants

Yuck. I dont like our chances of 2 of those happening to be honest. Dallas wont be playing their stars, Denver blows, and Baltimore has to win.
Murray's ability to run has stopped Q from finishing this half with at least 3 sacks.

He would be crazy to even consider a football career over baseball.

Who could argue with getting this guy if we went EDGE with our 2nd rounder and/or traded up into the late first for a guy like Ferguson. These next tier edge rushers all have flaws so why not get the guaranteed elite player and take the pass rusher with our 2nd pick.

If we only had one pick in this draft I would get it...but we have a high 2nd round pick w/ opportunity to trade up to address EDGE if no Bosa. That way our RISK is with a 2nd round pick versus a top 2 pick. QW ain't busting and is FAR more worthy of #2 than any player not named Bosa.

At #2 if cannot trade down....

QW + Ferguson (or whoever else at EDGE drops to 20s) >>>>>>> Josh Allen/Polite/Burns + whoever in the 2nd round.

I remember hearing that argument a bunch with Solly. We'll grab the Leo later. 2 years later nada.

You're spending a top 5 pick on the line. We got other needs as well. It's a big assumption we won't just patch work the edge again.

So IF we drafted QW at #2 and got Ferguson (or other falling EDGE) with our 2nd pick, are you going to be upset or will you be ok with it?

IF we got one of the good EDGEs left with our 2nd pick I'm not sure anyone could complain when the main issue for people not wanting QW is due to a lack of EDGE.

Another question for everyone...IF we had a good quality edge rusher now would you still object to QW? I'm trying to discern whether it's the lack of EDGE on the squad versus picking interior DL yet again that is most bothersome to people.

Falcons and Cowboys should come through. Browns are a toss up. Denver has no chance.

I put the odds at about 50/50. I like the Falcons vs the Bucs and then three chance to get one of the other games to go our way. Browns playing well and the Giants just aren't that good. Pretty sure Chargers are winning against Denver.

I'm an A's fan so obviously I want him to commit to baseball but even if I wasn't, I'd say that someone needs to talk to this kid. He's like 5'9" and 180 pounds. Aaron Donald after a Chipotle run has bigger bowel movements than that.

I'm not a huge stickler for height but 5'9" for a QB is just silly. He already has issues with passes being knocked down in college. What is this dude gonna do when 6'7" DeForest Buckner is running right at him?
I think Lynch has to find edge help in FA this year. We don't really have many holes on the roster anymore. An edge rusher is a gaping hole.

If we sign someone, which I believe we will, QW becomes in play as the BPA. I'm just not so certain he'll be on the board. He's the most dominate player in the country and that includes Bosa. The Cards would be fully justified taking him.

Some are just dead set on us not selecting another DT.

Someone actually posted that they'd pass on Aaron Donald if he were in this draft.

I don't understand why a few believe that the only way to improve our pass rush is by selecting an EDGE, even if it means reaching on a lesser prospect. It's like Marsh has them traumatized or something.

If he is not on the board and we have the #2 pick, it means we get Bosa who would also be BPA. MUST MUST MUST stay in front of Jets.

Picking 3rd and then a ton of options and players come into play.

A lot could happen between now and the draft. Even if we fall to 3-5, something like Haskins moving into the top 3 could bump one of Bosa or Q.Williams into our range. How many thought Mayfield was going to be the #1 pick in December?
