Quinnen Williams, DT Alabama

Let's not forget Sheldon Day, and DJ Jones. Theres the wild card in Street. Those dudes are some tough mofo's. I would bet on them at this point in their careers. STREET, injury or not has some heart. Mix them and Buckner and Blair. Ford and Bosa or slight trade back. It's a RUSH and a wall.
SHANY scores on anyone, let's stop or alow the anyone!

The #2 pick should make the whole team better and if he can't, they need more quality guys to ruin a teams plan. I just think Bosa on the outside will make Buckner look better. WILLIAMS will make us stout up the middle.
I'm not the best at X's and O's, I think today's NFL is built for speed and to get around the middle more than ever before.
Be stout in the middle and set the edge with a rush. Sounds good, is it possible with Williams?

We think QW + Buck will give us a game plan wrecker and production similar to Donald + Suh. Personally, I think thats being really optimistic. I don't know if they can get close to that

Not wrecking games more than Ford and Bosa. No way. IMO.

I disagree. Either way you have a formidable duo. Do not underestimate pressure up the middle. That's the best way to frustrate a guy like Brady.

Agreed, that words are bold.

I mean I agree I'd rather have Bosa because of need but if Bosa goes number 1 getting Williams would a hell of a consolation prize. Sometimes you just draft bpa, especially with d-line.

Totally down with QW if Bosa goes 1.

It's so funny to me that the same fans that hate why Lynch signs injured players they have a meltdown. Now they all want Bosa lol

Glad we passed on Frank Gore back in the day because of those two ACL repairs. RBs need good knees or they never last in this league.

Having second thoughts on taking QW over Bosa now lol

How good were ER? Seems like they had no pressure during SB

Glad Bosa carried a full load the season before being drafted like Gore did.

Also glad we can snag Bosa in 3rd round and pass on him twice... just as with Gore.

Gore first ACL before spring practice. Big load there. Gore's second ACL in game 5 after 89 season carries, another big load. Point is players can be productive after injuries regardless of where they are drafted.

played 12 games with over 1000 total yards the yr before being drafted. that's the full load reference and that's what we're not getting with your guy.

point is we actually did skip over Gore....and its really apples to oranges because their situations are entirely different.

Yep, Gore's injuries were more severe especially at his position and Bosa is just subject to recency bias.

I can't disagree with a thing he said. That was a very fair evaluation. With our luck and history makes me wonder how the 49ers feel about Bosa's durability.

He is right too. No doubt about it. We go to the Super Bowl if we pick Quinnen Williams.
