Stop saying this crap. When has a rookie DT ever became the main reason an NFL team went from a 4 win season or even a losing season to a SB participant?
But Q is so dominant he single handedly shut down Clemson and led Bama to a title. This ain't no ordinary pick.
Oh wait. I guess you can still lose with a tackle.

im glad you picked out an anomaly of a draft pick in Frank Gore, which was a 3rd round pick 14 years ago. How have the 49ers fared after 2005 when it comes to injured players....

I remember that time when people thought Taylor Mayes was going to be better than Earl Thomas when Thomas was drafted first and I barely remember that draft when people said Alex Smith was going to be better than Aaron Rodgers.
I just hope we are on the right side of history this time

JImmy G was a four yr starter in college, never got hurt.....clearly that doesn't mean s**t because it's football and players get hurt

Yes QW doesn't have the injury history of Bosa...but he really only played one full season as a starter and fact is right now Nick Bosa is 100% healthy and Quinnen isn't.
Injuries are a concern with Bosa but right now as mentioned he's 100% healthy which means his concerns are no different than anyone else. I've thrown around the Frank Gore vs Reggie Bush comparison many times. Frank had awful injury history in college. Reggie Bush had 0 concerns. How did their NFL careers go?
And if you watch the video....he didn't say he'd take Williams over Bosa for us. That discussion wasn't part of it. And guess what...which team is picking does matter.
No, we're not. Bosa has a history of injuries. Does that not concern you?

so you expect that Bosa will have a healthy nfl career while his fragile body cannot handle the college and high school game? Wow. SMH.

Back in December, I wanted Bosa. But, now after watching more film of QW, I really want him.
Plus, Bosa staying healthy concerns me.

Why can't both guys be good football players? We all have our preference for many reasons, don't see why one guy has to be an all-pro and the other has to be a bust?
IMO Q AND Bosa will be very good football players at the next level

Would I rather he have no injury history? Of course.
Am I worried about his play because of his injuries? No.
The ACL injury he had was in HS, it was a partial tear and healed fast enough that he didn't have to redshirt the following season as a true freshman.
The core injury is fully healed and is probably stronger as a result.
Injuries in the NFL are part training and mostly luck. As I've said we've seen guys who were dealing with serious injuries in college come into the league and not have anything serious ever again and have HOF level careers and we've had players who didn't miss any games come in and never play a full season.
If Bosa was coming off an ACL injury and couldn't work out then I would have way more concerns.

He had one injury in 3 yrs at OSU....anyone can and will get hurt at some point it's f**king football dude. Having a partial ACL tear or having a core injury in no way means he can't "handle" football. that's the dumbest post.
I guess Adrian Peterson can't "handle" it because he had the same s**t (ACL and core injury). Last I checked he's going into his 13th yr as a RB.

This, it happened almost 4 yrs ago and yes it was a partial tear (no soft tissue damage). He played 7 months later and like you said didn't miss any time.

Clearly you missed the memo and Bosa is the only guy to have injuries in HS and college. Anytime this happened in the past those players were done for.

"Why pick williams over bosa?"
Analyst: "injuries"
It's so funny to me that the same fans that hate why Lynch signs injured players they have a meltdown. Now they all want Bosa lol

Bosa's injury was much more serious. If both players are elite potential there's no reason for any of us to be mad about getting either one.
