Agree, but I think it can work out if they get an edge in the 2nd round. A buckner/Quennin duo revisits the old stubbie/young duo in the days past. We just need a Deion (Sherman) back there to shut down his half of the field for that to work out on the back end.

Ugh so first two picks on DL? They might as well punt on edge if they can't land one of the studs. Honestly I think they will try to move down if Bosa is gone (even if they don't get a haul). Not sure if they right but I think they want to come away with one of the top edge guys in this draft.

If Bosa is gone we may have no choice. Still need to address pass rush imo and It's so many picks along the line the past few years but at least Now the pass rush Should be the strength of the team with great depth etc.

I was revisiting last years draft and everybody thought they would take Harold Landry, and whalla, they take McGlinchy. First of all, I want them to pick Bosa. Secondly, the 49ers can blow smoke as well as anybody, and thirdly - it *can* work - having pressure up the middle and DB's to cover the backside a-la '1994. Having said that, I think their best bet is picking Bosa, but if they do pick Quinnen, they can make it work with extra draft picks (maybe a trade down somewhere in the middle rounds) and get the DB personnel on the backside (unless they think they already have the personnel to pull it off). Ward anybody.

It *looks* like Murray is the AZ pick, but having reviewed last years draft, I'm preparing myself for rooting for QW if they pick him.

As for picking Trey Down. I think they have the personnel to pull off a good draft haul and get maybe an extra pick or two - to make the QW pick work if Bosa goes to AZ. My preference is they pick Trey Down and get Allen and a whole boatload of picks in addition to Allen.

Saleh would have to go to a straight 4-3 (preferably a 4-2-5) as a base defense with QW, but if Bosa is gone and there is so much edge rushers in the draft. You take advantage of folks trying to get Murray and my option is to pick Trey Down, get an extra couple of draft picks this year and next and pick Burns, Allen, or any of the other elite edge rushers that aren't athletically at the Level Of Bosa or QW.
