I haven't heard that. I'm guessing Buckner would slide to the outside. Williams has been playing inside but he does have a really quick first step. Maybe they think he could play outside if he dropped 10 or 15 lbs. He already has good speed..

Nah he read it wrong it was Allen talking at the end of the article saying he would be a DE

So if he's the guy will we trade or cut Armstead & Thomas while in the progress admitting that those picks were failures (including an all-time worst pick) that didn't help improve us on the field in anyway?

Position wise if Bosa is gone we are way ahead taking Allen. If Dee Ford gets hurt and we take Q, we are once again a team with 10 DTs and no DEs.. So from a postition standpoint, we are way better off with DE than DT(Q). But Allen is an OLB, a great one, and Q is a tank in the middle.

That is what john and kyle have to come to grips with. Not just the talent but the positions also. So i am hoping for Bosa, but if gone, hope for Allen. IF wrong and we go Q, then i celebrate that pick also. It seems it is hard for us to go wrong. It is just a matter of which way is "gooder" or "Goodest" of all. We can't lose.

But if ... we get offered something akin to a six pak...i still hope we take one of the 3...unless we can trade down one or two slots and be assured of still getting one of the big 3 PLUS another decent 1st rounder. For me, it won't work if we get shut out of a blue chipper...ie top 3 picks...B. Q. Or A.

An all time worst pick? Dont think do. Too many real failures if you look back.
