No reason to assume both can't be studs...but nobody should care if QW is "beating" 4th squad future insurance salesmen, who are tripping over lineman.

dude was awful last yr, they paid Carpenter just as much cash, and drafted a OG in the 1st RD. Like Thorne said above his the 4th IOL on that team and is backup talent.

QW is a beast, two 2 talent in the draft IMO BUT I'd like to see him play vs starters that aren't tripping over their teammates feet

For the record, ive said QW is the better overall player but Bosa was the correct pick for what we needed because it was close.

I like them both and I agree Bosa is what we needed more. Some are concerned about Bosa's injuries but when I look at Williams I see a pudgy face. I Have to wonder if weight will become an issue with him as he gets older. Remember, he's still really young and maintaining proper weight has ruined the career of more than one NFL lineman. I hope it doesn't because I like him as a player and he seems to have a good personality.

I really don't want to be right on this one, but I wanted QW over Bosa.

That's crazy. Guess guard value has really shot up in the last few years

Let the year play out before we start labeling people anything. Everyone wants Thier opinion to be right but nothing done now in preseason will say much of anything. When the games actually count and we can look at see how these guys look with 500 snaps under thier belts we can get a better idea of who is who.
Personally I really liked both players coming out and would have been happy with either one of them being a niner. Bosa does fit our team needs more so I totally get us picking him. But some people are hoping he fails to justify them not liking us picking him. If you are a real Niner fan you should want him to do well to help this team win. That is the main goal.

One drive does not make a QB good or bad....but one thing you always look for in young QBs is how are they reading defenses. Every single throw there was a pre snap read and he stared the rout down on...every....single....throw. That is not NFL reality.....

I would not put tons of stock in that performance. I don't have any thing against Jones...He might be the next coming of Joe Monatana... hell i hope he is, i truly hope he does awesome, but lets see him do that with consistency against a real NFL defense in a game that matters.

2 games and no sacks. If this were Solly we'd be hearing the b word by now. Jk though.
