So what? He's adjusting to the NFL. Come back in 2 years and if he's not a top 5 DT I'll eat crow.

The Jets have the #1 run defense in the NFL while having lost their top LBs to injury. Williams is playing a huge part in that.
The #Jets win. You all win.

Im going to explain what Gregg is doing with Quinnen Williams. He's using him on stunts and twists on nearly every snap, to effectively just chew up blocks for LBs and have no impact on the stat sheet.
Gregg is doing what he needs to win. Good on him pic.twitter.com/Tb0OBCklp9
And if your response is "Maybe Gregg Williams is using Quinnen like this because he's not good enough 1 v 1 yet", this would be my response...

The kid is still an elite talent. Just wait and see #Jets fans pic.twitter.com/IpPaoN6Ow4
Quinnen Williams bullies 2 time Pro Bowler Rodney Hudson (a damn good center) on the first play of the game. This forces Jacobs back inside to meet with the rest of Gang Green. Give this kid time to get acclimated to the game, he's going to be good. pic.twitter.com/mbm2kFSjOz

This rep from Quinnen Williams is why he went 3rd overall. Balance of speed and pure power; crazy to think how young he is. Need to see a lot more of these to justify the pick though. pic.twitter.com/RY5qZlNMwk

A year ago people were calling Vita Vea a bust. Now he's the most dominant nose tackle in football. Williams got sidetracked by injury early on but long term I think he'll be fine. He has the athleticism, the skill and the right mindset to be a really good player in this league for a long time.
If they can add an edge, the Jets could have a really dominant defense next year with Adams, Williams and their LBs healthy again.
