It's licensed in Alabama. Not New York. He is young and probably just didn't realize the problem here. I don't think he was intentionally trying to do something wrong.
But had we drafted him the place would have gone into meltdown. As it did with Aldon in an airport. But as he doesn't play for us, excuses are made.
The airport security situation has been in place for years and has been well publicised. All NFL teams, and I imagine in all probability major colleges like Alabama, will have explained the situation to their players. There is also signage in airports and in airline websites.
