Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

hate that he has t-rex arms though

It's not ideal, especially not for a top 5 pick, but footwork is MUCH more important than arm length, ideally you'd like both but elite footwork will eliminate arm length issues, at least in pass protection.
Cardinals online looks terrible. Wonder the likelyhood of them selecting this guy first overall.

Zero. No chance a tackle without great length goes first overall in a draft with Nick Bosa and Quinnen Williams (elite prospects). They can address it in free agency, later in the draft, or pick up draft picks trading back into the top 5 or top 10 and still get Jonah Williams.

trade back if anything. There aren't a ton of great olineman to go around in the league that would want to go to a team like that, meaning draft is their best bet

If the Niners trade back a few spots, I wouldn't mind them getting their LT of the future. I'm no expert on Williams or the other OT's though tbh.

I just can't get on board with them not ending up with either Quinnen or Bosa
I see NYG taking him to be their RT. They badly need one. And they pick 6.
Here is a funny question. Does he end up as a guard in the nfl?

Pretty much. I could come around on Allen if he shows enough at the senior bowl, too.

I want an immediate impact guy. Not someone who'll be nice to have next year if Staley retires.

I think if they did draft Jonah then it'd be a pretty safe assumption that he would play at guard for at least a year before taking over at tackle but I get your point. You wouldn't be getting left tackle value out of him right away.
No one is drafting Jonah #1

Did anyone ever really think he would the 1st pick in the draft?

Top 10 most likely, Top 5....probably not. Too much defensive talent early.
