I don't get why he has SF drafting 3rd...you'd think you would go off of current draft order, no? IMO out of the 3 teams (SF,AZ,OAK) Oakland has the smallest chance at drafting one.

It's been mock season since week 3 for me lol.

This is why we need to lose out. The idea of being at #3 is scary.

Bye bye Bosa and bye bye probable trade scenario if that happens.

And while I don't think Jonah is a bad player if we took OT at #3 overall while Joe is still playing I'd lose my chit. Wasn't a big fan of McGlinchey at 9 last year but then we moved on from Brown so it made sense. If we don't address pass rusher in this class I'm going to cry.

Having this miserable season end with the 3rd overall pick would be the final kick in the junk. This team is due for something to fall our way for once. I can deal with the weekly doom squad complaining about loosing another game (injuries aren't an excuse! we should win with mullens thrown balls to Bourne and DJ Reed and Harris running round on defense blah blah blah). It will be worth it if we can get Bosa. I'll be happy if we get 2nd overall and can trade out. Anything to get top end talent on this team at impact positions.

Getting a RT after this season would be so meh and I don't see this staff doing it. They need to go big and that's not big.

Sure would but I'd settle for 5 YPC without a top 3 pick in there and a QB killing monster like Bosa helping our defense get back to being scary.

It's simple. These draftniks think that Jimmy Garrapolo is surrounded by trash on offense (and that is a bigger priority than fixing a defense that can close games), so they will continue to mock OL, WRs, and RBs to the 49ers until the team actually upgrades the supporting cast on that side, whether it be from players returning from injury or additions through FA/draft.

Partially true. It it's stems from their belief the Niners have their franchise qb. First thing you do is make sure he has a great o-line to keep him healthy.

If we do end up picking lower it's very realistic he's our pick.

Would be a bummer because we couldn't run the ball...teams would be throwing all over us cause we couldn't get to the QB

Only way I'd be down for Williams is if we got a massive haul in a trade down and was able to land him and Allen/polite (which is highly unlikely).

While I wouldn't smash my tv lol I'd prefer taking the 2nd or 3rd ranked edge rusher over a OT/OG.
