Hakeem Butler-WR-Iowa State

The ability to run a "blaze out," a staple of Kyle's offense, is a good baseline for WR prospects. Kyle has both his split end and flanker run this route. If a WR prospect can't run this route at a high level(ie ability to throttle down from full speed, flip hips, explode out), Kyle won't want them. Frankenstein WRs need not apply.

Welp, Riley Ridley it is!

He playing?

Somewhere between AJ Green and Plaxico Burress

That's a pretty good comparison man.
Looking real good in this game.
He's starting to take this game over. Looks like a man among boys with those 5'9 CBs

Looks like Butler is going to post a nasty vertical.
Butler is so damn tall I cringe every time he crosses the middle. I feel like he's a nasty knee injury waiting to happen.

Dude's ability to play above the rim is pretty ridiculous, tho.

Bummed I fell asleep half way through the game, but liked what I saw tonight. Will try to rewatch Saturday morning.

He looks fast, and will definitely run in the 4.5s at worst; I am fully expecting 4.4 speed. Had some nice and varied releases, and his leaping ability and catch radius are elite as expected. Smooth athlete, able to flip around and get up field. Runs with aggression. Some nice footwork at the top of his routes at times, but some slow breaks as well. Concerns with inconsistent hands, and lazy routes when the play was going away from him.

I will stick with the Plaxico Burress comp, and hopefully, if he shoots himself in the leg, it will be after catching the game winning pass in SFs 6th superbowl victory.

He had that leaping one handed catch... we could use that all day on Sundays, especially in the red zone.

Exactly my thoughts on that play

Sorry Adrian, if your assessment is accurate then he just isn't a WR we look for, slow breaks and inconsistent hands. He may as well be a 350lb lineman with bad footwork.
