Hakeem Butler-WR-Iowa State

I approve of this pick in the 2nd round. A big WR who can be used in the redzone.
David Sills > Butler. Faster and better route runner.
I think Kyle might like this dude. He changes directionpretty damn well for a big man, also he is fast. Two things Kyle loves with his receivers.

Wow Bear, we're normally in step but I couldn't disagree more with this one. Sills sucks horseballs!

Has no nuance to his game at all, runs straight and tries and has every catch contested, doesn't tend to work in the NFL.

That's what I thought at first but I watched more of him and found out what I had been missing. I'm thinking I will make a cut of video proving my point on this soon.

I mean exhibit A.

Don't want to hijack this thread but as a former believer in Butler. Sills will be the better player and much better value if he lasts to the 3rd.
Let's take it to the Sills thread, I'm glad he ran a proper route, but unless the video is in slow motion I'm not impressed.

Butler was praised for running the exact same route in this thread lol but okay...
I have been wanting the team to draft a big receiver for years. I remember we bought in Jon Baldwin via trade, but I believe there was another 6'5'' receiver they had that couldn't cut it.

Didn't Butler run in the 4.4? Sills was 4.57 or something like that.

Yessir x2 He and Deebo are really good route runners and have excellent footwork something you don`t have to teach.

I wouldn't say hes a great route runner, but he's well beyond serviceable, which combined with everything else, makes him a cheat code and WR1

Yea I may have jumped the gun a little bit. One game I watched of Butler he looked really slow off the line. Just watched another game and hes definitely faster. So I take it back lol.

Right now I have Metcalf, Hollywood, Aj Brown, Butler, Deebo, then Sills. I think I went a little crazy after watching a few games of Sills.

So ya I take it back lol but I honestly believe we will target Butler or Sills. Both are the taller redzone types we need. Not crazy about Butlers route running but he's so strong at the point of the catch and his RAC is amazing.
