Some might flame me for this but I would not mind the Niners spending one of their picks on a QB, I personally feel like if a good QB is available you take them. We saw this year what an injury can do to a team.

I think they are so so but to me the main thing with Jones is he is a product of David Cutcliff who helped groom two QB's who between them won 4 Superbowls.

But we have 2. Not just two guys, but one that may be a FQB and another that at best may be a starter and at worse is a very solid backup. Why would we use a pick on a QB ?

NDSU absolutely owns the FCS and a big reason why is their ability to consistently identify and acquire high level talent at QB. Lance is just the latest star to play under center. Overall he's a bigget talent than Stick was, far more athletic but needs to continue to develop as a passer. He's a lot like Kaepernick in his style and especially when he takes off and runs. Tall, long strider with a big arm that can house it anywhere from on the field. Going to be interesting to watch him progress.
