And he's in like his 6th year after stinking out of Stanford lol

Well if Garappolo plays good, but we still go 8-8, its a moot point. If he plays bad, then I am sure the fans will want to get a QB. The question is....is Lynch and Kyle ready to pull that trigger? Is Kyle ready to get a mobile dual threat QB that may not fit his system perfectly? If I recall, I read that he does not like it when a QB improvises on a play instead of following the play design exactly how its drawn up. I could be wrong about that, since I don't remember where I read it.

You and I are on the same page NY, was thinking about making a thread for him after seeing the game last week. He seems like a guy Shanny would like, has a quick release, accurate, quick/good decisions. After seeing the game I did a little digging and watched a bit more of him, essentially he's a more mobile Garoppolo with possibly a better arm too imo. I like him

For realz! Yeah I was gonna make a thread but I haven't watched enough yet.
Just from what I saw his arm talent is better than Jimmy's..love how he moves around in the pocket and makes some big boy throws.
Dude is killing it so far. I like him as well

Mac Jones throw a fkn beautiful ball. Most accurate passer in all of Football too. Definitely one to keep an eye on. Solid pocket presence too.

Early but my guess is that Mac Jones from Alabama is the most "Kyle Shanahan" style QB.

-Tough
-Not very mobile
-Runs offense efficiently
-Not a HUGE arm but will air that hoe out
-Gets ball out his hands NOW
-Haven't seen him really create outside the structure of the play call pic.twitter.com/KGahjJWYYx
I know a "Kyle Shanahan" type QB doesn't sound sexy but Mac Jones in my opinion is a high level version. Closer to a Matt Ryan type. But it's early in the process. His ball placement pushing the ball vertically is crazy good. pic.twitter.com/s4s4FUUBuX

Beautiful deep ball. And he's highly efficient. Drives the ball well. Matt Ryan Jr pic.twitter.com/eyTPWOeMOd
