Incredible news

He'd be dumb to do otherwise honestly. Right now he's the 8 at a country bar around closing time. Next year he'd just be one of a lot of hot chicks at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after party.

In 17 out of the last 18 drafts, a QB was taken in the top 3 (the exception was 2013 when EJ Manuel was taken #16 and Geno Smith was taken #39). In 13 out of the last 18 drafts, a QB was taken #1 overall.

I find it hard to believe it'll be 17 out of 19 after this draft.
When the Eagles traded from 8 to 2 to draft Wentz they gave up a 3rd and 4th in that draft. A 1st in the year after, and a 2nd in the draft two years after.

Jacksonville is only going from 7, so it will probably be a little less for them to get to 2 and a little more for them to get to 1.

Lets pray that Foles and Flacco sign with anyone but the Giants and Jags so they will be outbidding each other to trade up.

I was thinking Jacksonville could trade #7, their 2nd, the Rams 3rd (they have it from the Fowler trade) and next year's 1st and 3rd for #1. I think that's about fair if the Jags really want Haskins.
Well Justin Fields transferred to Ohio State. That probably means Haskins is for sure declaring. He wouldn't go there otherwise..

Just read that. It's on my braddahs
In the limited play I've seen of Haskins, he seems like he has big potential. Hopefully hype grows for him.

When is the deadline for players to declare for the draft?

Right on.
Hype always grows on QBs. Scouts and GMs forget everything they know about the sport and scouting when they need a QB.

And in 3 of 5 drafts from 1996 to 2000, a QB was not taken in the first 17 picks. If Barrett didn't declare, there's no chance a team would reach for a QB in the top 3. As it is, if Allen or Burns has a great combine, one of them could be picked in the top 3 along with Bosa and Williams. There's no guarantee a QB gets taken in the top 3 just because of the recent trend.
