Dwayne Haskins-QB-Ohio State

Flacco is likely to be available. Which QB needy team will take a punt on him as a stop gap and remove themselves from the Haskins sweepstakes?

For some reason I keep seeing him in a Jags uniform.

Same. I think he's perfect for them. Not flashy but would look like a God compared to bortles
Giants, Jaguars, Redskins, Broncos, Dolphins.

Gotta root for one of these teams to do a Jared Goff style trade.

Is Haskins worthy of the #1 overall pick? Could be another DeMarcus Russell.

It honestly doesn't matter I think - he seems to have shown enough and has a potentially high ceiling. As he's a QB, teams are going to roll the dice - if no team is prepared to trade to the number one overall pick, I think we'll get an excellent offer for the second overall pick.

Either the Cards or us are going to get a ton of picks.

I cannot imagine anyone teading up to 1 or 2 for him. We will see a lot of these teams go with a veteran. Whoever gets Haskins most likely has him fall to them.

Flacco is poop...the Jags need to pay other players not a 34 old qb who has been avg at best outside of one playoff run.

Haskins gives them a young talented qb on a rookie contract...they don't need a ton of players (picks) they already have talent all over the place.

Russell never threw for almost 5,000 yards, had 50 TDs to 8 INTs, and completed 70% of his balls in a college season.

Agreed, I don't see any team trading for Flacco, Ravens will release him at some point this offseason

And then he goes where? One of these qb desperate teams will sign him.

Good point, I think (despite this year falling apart) the Jags are close enough to competing and should go with a trade up for Haskins. I think Flacco winds up as a backup in Buffalo or Arizona.

This would be ideal for us. Bosa or a ton of picks.

Yeah I'm guessing they cut him (post june 1st). If Sam Bradford can get like $15 million guaranteed for playing like 3 games what is Flacco gonna cost a team?
