One more thing that Haskins has going for him is his deep ball. Scouts and GMs cream over strong arms (Josh Allen) and the belief that they can stretch the field with the long ball.
Haskins doesn't quite have that cannon for an arm, especially compared to a guy like Allen, but he does seem have an excellent deep ball. That'll be a huge plus, which should push him up the board.

Kid lit up the #1 D in Michigan for 320 yards and 4 TDs. Has 4,600 yards 47 TDs 8 INTs and 4 rushing TDs.
He's got size, arm strength, and is a pocket passer. Dude needs to declare!

He's getting knocked for a limited resume but so did Trubisky and he still went #3 and I see more pro level traits with Haskins than I saw with Mr Biscuit and I was still a huge fan of his.
Haskins hasn't gotten the hype yet but I think he is a better pro level prospect than Trubisky, Goff, Winston and Mariota.
FIGHT ME!!!!!!

Mitch went 2nd
Lol I'm with ya, Kid can ball...I'd put him in the same class as Goff, Mitch, Mariota etc for sure.
We need that 2nd overall pick!!

If Haskins blows everyone away at the combine and during interviews, does Arizona have the guts to take him #1 and trade Rosen to another QB desperate team? Even with Rosen's rookie struggles, he probably can still fetch you a damn good return, which you then use to fill other holes on the team like fixing that god awful offensive line and interior defense.
Rosen could also easily turn it around like both Goff and Trubisky did once the players and coaches around them were upgraded. Either way Arizona could have a difficult decision on their hands if Haskins wows everyone leading up to the draft. Select Haskins and use Rosen to build the rest of the team, or trade the pick and use those assets to build around Rosen, but if Rosen is a bust and Haskins shines elsewhere, everyone in your front office is out of a job.

No.
but if Rosen is a bust and Haskins shines elsewhere, everyone in your front office is out of a job.
If they don't show huge improvement next season, Keim will already be out on his butt.

Rosen is awful. And it's not because of talent around him. Perhaps the most inaccurate QB in the pros right now.

I don't think the book has been written on him yet, but a lot of the problems he had in college are being highlighted big time on a trash team. I don't think he has the individual talent or mental makeup to ever put an offense on his shoulders and carry them.
Arizona selected him because he was the best available at the time, but if Haskins is hyped to be much better, they'd be fools to pass on him just because they selected Rosen in the prior draft. This isn't the old system where teams were handcuffed to first round picks.

What?
The whole franchise is being blown up if you think they are at that level. There are already whispers of Wilks being let go. If they are admitting that they should move on from Rosen at this point, everyone in that FO is being dismissed. Haskins blowing up would be the best thing to happen to Arizona because they could cash in big time with a trade.

With Herbert staying there's only one guy everyone's competing for now. This could be good for us.

If he kills it in the bowl game, the hype will be unreal---assuming he does come out.

Pretty sure we could have said the same thing about Goff...accuracy wasn't a issue in college (61% comp percentage)
he has no OL, horrible play calling, and no one WRs

Still to this day nobody fears Jared Goff. They are only concerned with the coaches and talent around him. Regardless, he has nothing to do with the fact that Josh Rosen overthrows wide open receivers by ten yards... regularly.
