Retread QBs that are either old or mid tier doesn't really help teams that suck currently with that type of QB already on their roster (phins, cinci, NY, broncos, TB, jags etc) getting what some people think is a good young QB on a rookie contract is a big deal.
If Haskins declares and does his thing in the draft process, I wouldn't be shocked at all if a team moves up for him. Happens all the time.
Winston, Tannehill, Bortles weren't retreads they're top draft picks gone wrong. Miami, TB, Cincy, Jax may be saying do we want to spend another 5 years developing a risky play. It happens all of time where teams will focus on line, d and accept a bridge qb.
I don't buy that Arz is going to take a discount. We may because there's not many good picks there for us but the top pick is too valuable to just take 60 cents. There's going to be a market for Haskins but the question is will teams trade away an entire draft for him just climbing over a top of each other? I'm skeptical of that.
This. Half of us had no idea who he was until this week lol
He's no Manning or Luck. Too bad for us :(
