Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

6-1, 200

A CB to keep an eye on moving forward. Big corner that excels in off/zone coverage. Collects PBUs like Pokemon cards. Saleh be like

Very surprised this kid isn't/didn't get more hype. I think he will leading up to the draft. I definitely can see him being on our radar and he's a great prospect!
Hes been on my radar all season. Him and Justin Layne are the two CBs I'll be pounding the table for.

Wowwwww what a bummer.

So I watched a grand total of zero seconds of college football this year because I was so focused on enjoying this 49ers season. Sooo, the only player I have a feel for is this guy. And from what I saw in his previous year, he's exactly what the 49ers need.

If his medical(ankle) checks out. Trade down and nab this guy in the 2nd. He's a perfect fit for this scheme. He can play opposite of Sherman with Moseley and Spoon backing them up. He'll replace Sherm in a few years. Niners probably have a high grade on him after scouting Tim Harris who they took late from the same school last year.

If they move down multiple times I could see that. IMO he's a late 2nd rd prospect. He's a scheme specific CB at this point (just so happens he fits ours). Wouldn't hate it BUT only if they move down a couple times.
Hall won't be working out at the combine. Man I like his skill set but I couldn't take him in the top 64.

Bryce Hall won't be participating in next week's combine because of an ongoing recovery to the gruesome left ankle injury he suffered in 2019 against Miami. Any time a prospect undergoes surgery on their foot, ankle, knee – especially at the cornerback position – it's a big deal because we don't know if they'll return with some sort of agility, explosiveness, or change of direction. We should know a lot more about Hall's outlook going forward after next week, which will significantly determine his draft stock.
I don't think he goes before the fourth round unless maybe a third round comp is used on him. Think about Lattimore when I think about Hall.

We may actually be one of the few teams willing to gamble on him a little earlier.

I bet there's a guy with the Jaguars who's already broken the table pounding it so hard for this guy.
