Tyree Jackson CAN throw it over them mountains-QB-Buffalo

Surprised he doesn't have a thread yet. Big quarterback(6'7", 240+), huge arm with enough mobility to threaten defenses on the ground. He comes with quite a few deficiencies and a long windup throwing motion but with a whole lot of guts and a lot of fun to watch.

Hard to see him being a good player with that long windup. Being so tall with long limbs has hurt guys like Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, and even Kapernick because obviously defenders react much quicker in the pros and your release can't be that slow. The only thing that can compensate for a slow release is very quick decision making and those guys listed above definitely weren't fast processors.

I don't know much about him, so hopefully he's more heady than those other guys because dude has a missile.
this guy seems like the opposite of a kyle qb. interesting to see how kyle uses him this game.

Nah. From everything I've seen he's a really good dude, hard worker that might be able to find a niche in the NFL as a backup/developmental QB. He'll be a credit to any QB room that he ends up in. He's got all the physical traits, I also think he processes stuff a lot more quickly than Logan Thomas, Brock Osweiler....etc. The delivery will always be a concern and he has to improve his ball placement, especially on the intermediate throws but I can see a coach like Arians being intrigued by him and his ability to throw deep.

His ability to throw on the move is especially intriguing.

His mobility could also make for some creative fun as a package player ala Taysom Hill or the way the 49ers used Kaepernick before he became a starter.

I know who he meant. Every big black quarterback that can throw far gets compared to Jamarcus Russell on the first page.
He's starting to get some momentum. That mid-round talk is falling out the window.

If Josh Allen could go as early as he did last year, don't think someone won't fall in love with the idea of molding Jackson. On paper, he's the prototype. Allen has some ugly tape and if you were to compare the two side by side, you could certainly form an argument that Jackson is the better player.

We always talk about QBs getting drafted late in the 1st, perhaps earlier than expected, to give teams the 5th year on their contract. I think Jackson could be a guy that could fall into that category.

It'll be interesting to see if the the buzz really to starts to build as we get closer to the draft.

Yeah well. I dont mind pick him for 6th round or undraft?!
Can he outthrow Druckenmiller?
Honestly his combine turned me off. Not the workouts but how he carried himself. Yeah he was all smiles but it seemed he didn't take it like a job and tried to show off his arm too much. Seems like a great kid and no off the field issues as far as I know but I didn't like how he carried himself. Maybe I'm the only one.
He is physically similar to Justin Herbert in size and arm strength. Justin is projected to go in the top 5 next year although not all of us in Eugene are sold on him. He has been hurt a couple of times including a fractured collarbone and has yet to have a signature win or big game against a good team. He gets a lot of hype because he is a local kid but wasn't a highly recruited player out of college. That said, he will go high next year but I'm not sold on how successful he will be in the NFL.
He is holding the ball long well but his arm is strong. His arm is very good to throw the fast ball. I liked it. Favre is very good his arm and throw the fast ball. He can running the fast be like Kap. I am thinking about Tyree Jackson can come to the 49ers. Please.
