More punter!
"Bradley Pinion will reach the open market.
I've heard that Pinion has been telling those around him that he doesn't expect to be back. He ranked 24th in net average last season and was in the middle of the pack with 22 punts inside the 20-yard line. Still, he also handled kickoffs for the 49ers, which is significant considering the team has leaned on older kickers like Gould and Phil Dawson in the past.
One of the draft-worthy punters this year is Stanford's Jake Bailey. He also handled kickoffs for the Cardinal and the 49ers coached him at the Senior Bowl.
One more item: Bailey ran his 40-yard dash in a respectable 4.72 seconds and he had 16 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, which is better than four running backs at the combine."

Bailey wouldn't be a bad pick...although I'm sure they'd prefer to sign him as a UDFA. Another option would be to sign Saints' FA P Morstead, who's been in the top 6 for total net yds the last 3 seasons.

Not just would love to have him punt and kickoff but like B.P, also be a great guy in the community as Bradley was.

Hopefully the Cards don't take him number 1 overall.

With our limited number of draft picks this season and a multitude of needs all across this roster I hope to god we don't use one on a punter.

If use a draft pick on a punter (again) I'm going to f-ing lose it
But I'm all for making this guy a priority undrafted target.

As long as its in the 6th round and beyond I don't care. The odds are good that whoever you take in the 6th or 7th will be out of the league in 2 to 3 years anyways.

Trade Pinion for a 7th
Draft this dude I guess.
Not so Fast.
The 49ers would still be able to match any offer tendered to Robbie … and if they decide not
to do so, the Niners would then be awarded two 1st round picks, courtesy of the team which
claims him. I don't see any team giving up that for a kicker!
🤔
