Interesting tight end prospect that the 49ers have reportedly shown interest in. Has shown a lot of improvement as a blocker, appears to be an ideal TE2 in need of some more coaching and development. Has pretty good athleticism for his size and great hands. I think he'd be a definite upgrade over Celek. Not the greatest in terms of his agility, seems to run with heavy feet at times but has enough speed to threaten a defense vertically and is particularly good at snagging passes in traffic.

More of an oversized slot receiver with great hands and improving blocking ability.

I don't think anyone is expecting him to be an in-line TE right away. But he's gained good weight and he's working at squaring, punching, hand position, and rolling the hips through the punch.

Josh Oliver @JoshO_3 out of San Jose State is a beast! He's 6'5" 250 with a 4.63 40. He's got amazing ball skills and can run every single route and does it well. I like this dude. Seen him a couple times at SJSU. Kid can play and is a surprisingly good athlete.

I can't believe Celek is still on the team after almost 7 years. I agree, it's time to give him some competition at the backup TE spot. Hope this guy can be it.
