Agree completely, Gross-Moss is going to be a beast, no way I think but if he was around when the niners pick I'd go crazy, and Next year Micah Parsons is going to be a top 7 pick
LB Troy Dye (Oregon) would be a good fit for this defense. He runs a 4.5, great in coverage he's also got the toughness/intensity factor. Seems to love football...played with a broken thumb.

49ers would need to take him in the 1st round though with their options, and not sure if they'd want to do that.

With Warner, Alexander, and Greenlaw I would hope they'd wait until late to take another LBer. I was hoping Dye would come out last year because I really liked him, but I'm thrilled with Greenlaw.
While it most likely won't happen...this kid with shanny would be pretty badass

Will be some solid WRs, RBs and oline around our 1st rounder.

Don't think he ever goes down on first contact. Pass pro is good. Great hands too. Do you think he's gone by 32 or 9ers are set at RB? Perfect size too 5'10" almost 220.
I don't think he's 5'10"... probably closer to 5'8", not that it matters. I don't trust him catching out of the backfield, two dropped touchdowns against Clemson. More of a body catcher, too. Plays with great pad level, excellent 1st gear and lateral quickness and agility, learned how to run behind his pads this year.

Has seriously improved. Looked like Barry Sanders lite as a freshman and followed it up with a bad sophomore season. You can tell he took it serious in the off-season and it showed. I think if he's available he's worth strongly considering.

My feeling is that they really won't look RB in R1. OL, DB, or WR would be my guess.

There are some really nice RBS this year too. Swift, Etienne, Dobbins, Taylor, and Hubbard.

I do like Lamical Perine and Edwards-Helaire quite a bit too, they could be available later.

I think he will be there when we're picking, I just don't expect SF to draft a RB that early. They should do everything possible to move down and recoup picks. Still would be sick to see him in our offense

This James Lynch on Baylor is interesting, 12 sacks as a
3-4 DE, if he comes out it would be some nice insurance in case Armstead leaves, probably be around in the middle rounds.
Brady Breeze S Oregon

Looks like a solid prospect, could be a late round gem

Agreed. Short of a top-10 player falling we should be trading out of the first. I want to be really active on day 2 and 3. I've said before Seattle's 2019 draft is the model to follow and if played right, we could walk away with 3 day two picks (puts us put of the top 50, but oh well) and a slew of day 3 picks. We can add more depth as well as trade for 2021 picks.

We want to solidify this team at every position to ensure we can continue to win, replace free agents, etc. Even if Jimmy Ward is resigned, I don't expect a longterm deal. Tartt's deal is up in 2020. There will be some guys due nice extensions in the coming seasons so let's prepare now.

Did he declare ? I believe he's a Jr.

You're right. Good looking safety though, will be a 2021 gem
Shaun Wade staying. Major bummer. Instantly becomes my first round pick in any 2021 mock draft, followed by Pat Freiermuth in the second.
