2019 NFL Draft: Your Shadow 49er Draft Class

Hey everyone, Brian Peacock who runs the Locked on 49ers podcast has a cool tradition of keeping track of his "Shadow 49er Draft Classes." Essentially he keeps up with the Draft all three days and makes his picks according to the players still available on his big board when it's the 49ers turn to pick.

It's pretty fun to be able to look back at how his classes have done compared to actual 49er Draft classes and I was thinking we could start a similar tradition on the Webzone.

If you want to share your Shadow 49er draft, keep up with the players still on the board at the time of selection, take note of who you would take, and share your class here once the draft is complete!

EDIT: Feel free to Post your shadow picks throughout the entire draft. It'll make the thread more active, and I think makes the most sense.

thanks man // yeah exactly! Whatever the 49ers do we are gonna be moving up and down the draft in accordance with them.

Good thing you noted after the draft cause real time during the draft would be next to impossible lol.

I listen to Peacock's podcast a lot. I am thinking about doing this myself this year. Probably on paper while its going on.

Fun idea to do this UCLA! The draft junkies in here already been doing this in different threads over the years, we finally have a thread for it

Haha seriously man. I also just felt like it would be cool to just have everyone post their entire class at once, rather than a pick at a time.

Same here brotha, I'll probably print out my favorite big board too and cross off names as they're selected to make sure I'm not making any duplicate picks. Lord knows it be pretty tough to keep track of after a few rounds haha. Post your draft class here when it's all said and done

Thanks man , I've always thought it'd be pretty cool to have everyone's shadow niner draft classes in one place. After a few years it's gonna be really cool to see how they turn out 🙏🏽

I think that's the best way to do it brotha 👍🏽. I'm gonna be writing my picks out on paper and crossing picks off from a big board. The only reason I was specifying after the draft was in terms of posting. So everyone can post their entire draft class with one post. But if people want to post their shadow pick in here one by one as the draft is going on, I say go for it,

Actually on second thought, if people want to post their picks one by one through out the draft that might be better and make the tread more active.

If you guys post your picks throughout the entire draft I will just edit my original post to include everyone's entire classes
