Who's your best case scenario with pick 36 (if no trade)?

Lol, yes, who needs a healthy franchise QB anyway

To be fair, an O-line that has continuity between years my be just as valuable as upgrading any one position. We are slated to keep the same starting 5 from last year.

That should be alarmingly frightening to every Niner fan, every where, lol.

I've read a few articles stating that the Raiders are taking Risner before our pick. Who else would be the OL choice here?
Not a jab, serious question. I've only read up on the "sexy positions"
Lock is tempting
Love AJ Brown, Deebo, Campbell etc. But it looks like there is depth there all the way to third-4th maybe? Give me Risner or the next Safety instead. Trading down a bit and get maybe an extra 4th round would also work for me.

What about using 2020 draft capital to pick up another 2nd rounder? The 2nd and 3rd round this year is deep. There's no saying what next years draft will be like or where we will be drafting.

So you're good with giving up our 2020 1st for an extra 2nd in this draft? I'm not, especially since we are already down a 2020 2nd because of the Dee Ford trade.

We need to grab AJB, Deebo, Murphy, Ya-Sin, or an offensive lineman that has a chance to immediately start inside, even if he might kick back outside in couple years when Staley retires.

I also don't think we need quantity in this draft. We don't need anymore Trent Taylor, K.Streets, Richie James, or Julian Temple types. If we trade down to acquire more picks, those will only be 5th or later picks and it's not worth missing out on guys who can possibly be impact players. I'd rather completely trade out of the 2nd if we can grab a 2020 1st, rather than trade down for an extra 5th in this draft.
I would love to have Risner, and know the importance of protecting our FQB, but I think we need to upgrade at WR. They want to cut down on Goodwin's reps, and who knows how El Gato will be this year.... hopefully he will ball out. Other than that, I see a lot of question marks.. Really hoping for AJ Brown!

I'm usually the first to condemn the o-line but I thought I saw some solid improvement from them in 2018. Mullens had time and put up some big numbers as a result. Are they world-beaters? Far from it; probably middle of the pack. I'd love to upgrade and think they will but they did just sign a guard for depth and the hope is that Richburg can improve in his second year in the system, Mcglinchey becomes more dominant, and Tomlinson is healthy and continues at a solid level.
I said AJ Brown but none of those guys would be bad picks for us

I'm down with DK. Lol. I know it won't happen, unless that report was a smokescreen
I will probably be surprised if the Niners choice is someone other than AJ Brown or Deebo Samuel...

I think our receivers are better then most think. Pettis should continue to develop. Goodwin hopefully is past his issues. Taylor should be closer to his rookie self as he puts more distance from his back injury. Bourne ended up being a pleasant surprise that could continue to get better. And I think Matthews could be a nice target for us too. Kittle is our #1 threat with our stable of stud rbs.

This team honestly goes as far as Jimmy G takes us. We must protect him. He goes down again, we are back to a top 10 pick barring some major development from Mullens. OT please at 36 that kicks inside to guard then replaces Staley when he hangs it up.
Nice video on Risner now on NFLN

If Kyle gives the DK pick his blessing, then there is no way I argue about the pick. Kyle Shanahan is an offensive genius and very rarely does he seem to miss on offensive players in the draft. If he wants DK over AJB or Deebo, then we have to trust him.
A.J Brown, Deebo Samuel, Greedy Williams, Byron Murphy and Nassir Adderley are my top 5 in that order for 36.

Later on I like Joejuan Williams, Michael Jackson, Kelvin Harmon and Juan Thornhill
I wonder where Winovich goes.
