Hopefully GM/FOs ahead of us think like Simms

And most here laughed at me for thinking that Jeudy is not a solid choice at the pick 13. Nor is Ruggs

No I'm disagreeing with Simms. Both are top end talents. Simms has always been about the biggest/fastest athletes. He's just like his father (listen to those goofballs for years) If you have the footwork and can separate like Jeudy can, you can play a long time in this league. He's not some physical freak, but he's far from a guy like Pettis lol.

Ruggs is closer to Tyreek Hill then someone like John Ross as well. Both ran all kinds of routes and made SEC CBs look silly.

Yes it is that time lol

Jerry Jeudy has always been my number one receiver in this draft, I really am not too high on Ceedee Lamb because I felt like we already had a YAC monster with Deebo, so I would have preferred Jeudy or Henry Ruggs, mainly because I trust my eyes and what they see but I came across this from Chris Simms and he is supposed to be great friends with Kyle Shanahan and in this video he states that he spoke to his best friends in the NFL and other front offices have approached him on some of his evaluation.
If this is to be believed it has obviously made me rethink my whole perspective on what I thought of as the top 5-10 receivers in this draft and I probably have to go back and watch more film on the prospects again to see his perspective.
You can watch the whole video but the really interesting part starts here https://youtu.be/OC_eooiE0Nk?t=1864

Yet he has Lamb and Jefferson ranked 1 and 2, but both players also lack elite athletic traits.

That's my only issue with his take, but hopefully other teams picking in front of us also feel this way and Jeudy falls into our laps... Though, we also have to hope Kyle Shanahan doesn't feel the same way about Jeudy as Simms does, but if he does pass on him I'll trust his decision more so than other talent evaluators that we've had in past years.

Seems like a ploy from an NFL team to get their opinion aired out. From here till the draft, we're gonna start hearing a bunch of reasons why this player or that player is not good or why he shouldn't be the pick. I remember all the talk about why Patrick Willis shouldn't be the pick and why the should take Adam Carriker or before that when people called Vince Wilfork lazy and over weight. Give me Jeudy at 13 ALL DAY IDGAF what is said before that!!!

This. People have been on the Jeudy bandwagon as a top 10 pick for the last 2 years, now all of a sudden he's supposedly dropping as we get closer to draft day? I'm not exactly sure what he's done wrong or what others have done better to knock him down any rankings, but I'm good with it if that means he drops to #13.

He had a subpar combine, but those numbers don't translate to the film imo. Same thing when you see Mims run a 6.66 3-cone he doesn't look that fluid on film (still like him a lot though).

I love Jeudy. The problem is he will be a Jet or a Raider. If we want him we mmmmm I think we actually need to move up.

I don't see the Jets going WR at 11. That's not even close to the M.O. of their GM Douglas or Gase. They're current starting LT is Fant they have nothing on the right side. They have zero at EDGE and zero at CB as well.

Raiders I expect to take a WR maybe not at 12. I wouldn't be shocked if they took Jordan Love and Mims/Jefferson at 19. I wouldn't be shocked if they have Ruggs/Lamb higher either.

Denver is a team that might move up for a WR

I can't see us moving up this year. The draft capital is too thin on the ground. And the position is too deep.

Agreed. I just don't think he'll be there at 13. I would love to be wrong.

The only piece Raiders need on offense is WR. Of course OL, but just about every NFL team can use OL.

That's how I feel. We go WR or o-line.
Is this dude trying to help his bff out by attempting to sink Jeudy's stock?
