Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama

The thing I do like about Jeudy is that he's decent size in addition to his SURGICAL, and I strongly emphasize surgical, route running. That frame can carry some more meat, and he's also only 20 years old. He should fill out into a 200+ lbs WR in a few years.

If he's a hard worker he'll definitely improve his strength pretty fast. Jeudy and Ridley have very similar body types coming out, but Ridley now looks like he's been putting in work inside the weight room these last couple of years... another reason I'm disappointed in Pettis.

Mayo you keep bringing up that he lacks physicality, please elaborate??

He needs to get stronger.

Why would a WR who runs very good routes and gets next level separation need to get stronger before the draft? Being a physical receiver is not what's gonna het him drafted in the top 15. He can become physical over time but that's not who he is right now.

Agree, he can get stronger over time. I shouldn't have said he lacks physicality - that implies that he's weak and he's not. He just might want to hit the weights and add a little muscle so he doesn't get manhandled.

Lacks physicality, agreed. But his route running and speed would look so damn good in Shanahan's offense!! Taking Jeudy or Ruggs would solidify the WR position for a good 4 to 5 years!!!

Man I'm excited!!!

They would solidify the position for a good 10-12 years.
damn, the more I watch this kid, the more I like him lol. His route running and footwork are so filthy. I mean easily some of the best route running and feet that I've ever seen from a college WR. And his ability to cut on a dime and change direction is freaken ridiculous.

I'm a sucker for speed, but I'm also a sucker for razor-sharp skill. Jeudy has both.

Ok, I'm officially on the Jerry Jeudy bandwagon. This kid is unreal. I don't think it's humanly possible to run this blaze out route any better. Jeudy gets in and out of the break in two steps. This is a special combo of hip/knee/ankle flexibility and body control. And I always harp on the ability to run the blaze out as a requisite for any WR prospects. Well, this is textbook.

Dude is definitely insane with his ankle breaking. Ruggs or Jeudy and I'm happy.

Surprised so many have Lamb above both of them. He's a quality prospect in his own but I def have him as the 3rd guy in that group.

Even if the 3 top WRs are drafted before the 13th pick, you can trade down or simply draft the OT or the DT that falls.
But Jeudy is really impressive. He´s not Julio Jones but he´s better than Calvin Ridley.
You can´t go wrong with his route running.

Yeah IF all 3 WRs are gone then there has to be al elite prospect at another position available. I mean Burrow, Tua and Herbert should most certainly be gone as well as Wirfs, Wills and at least one of Becton/Thomas. Then I'd bet that Simmons, Young and Okudah are gone too. You're at 12 right there without either DTs gone.

We really are in good position to get a good player.
Damned if I don't get the occasional Jerry Rice vibe from him when I watch his highlight package. Maybe it is his stride in the open field?

No, he runs just like Jerry.

Umm, I asked if there is a JR in this draft before, and I keep coming back to JJ as my crush this year. Don't mind if we don't get Beckham if this guy is still available by the time we get to 13. Is it possible Shany/Lynch hold off Beckham talk until we make our pick at 13 if the guy they want is there? I'd rather wait if Jeudy(Ruggs too) is there before we make a move for Beckham if that's what they want to do.
