Michael Pittman Jr. WR USC

And Hurd does?

Yes.

While Hurd wasn't drafted to only be a WR, even if he fits the criteria. Here he is running a blaze out, the exact route I posted about on the previous page. Hurd shows the ability to throttle down from full speed, flip his hips, and explode out a break at 6'5", 230 lbs. This is pretty damn impressive fluidity for a guy his size. Pittman doesn't move like this.

Nothing I've seen makes me think this dude will even be on the 49ers' wishlist. Just another Frankenstein WR, which is not necessarily a bad thing--just not what Shanny wants.

He's talented, but he's nothing special. To me he's the kind of guy you can get on 3rd day every year.

So with that, i can understand wanting him in the 4th allowing us to get top notch potential elsewhere. But in the 2nd as ive seen in some mocks... not feeling it

Kid had 101 rec almost 1,300 yards and 11 TDs with trash at QB

Those numbers are respectable.

He still has a little work to catch up to Trent Taylor's 136 receptions, 1800 yards and 13 TDs(senior year). And Richie James' 105 receptions, 1600 yards and 12 TDs.(sophomore year)
Both with trash at QB

I mean how many NFL caliber CBs they play against?

Utah was a top end defense this yr and has a couple DBs getting drafted...he had 232 yards and a TD

We will see. I agree he's a little stiff...I think he makes up for that being able to make contested catches and having vice grip hands.
Still remember his dad flexing his 21" arms before the game. Then running our defense in the ground when he played for Cards.. Hopefully his son is as physical.

Oh he is...I agree with hero he's not super twitchy. BUT everything else he does kyle loves. I mean as much as I was against bringing in Jordan Matthews at one pt he was a good WR. Imo he's not super twitchy yet Kyle brought him in. Pittman is similar to him and guys like Jeffery/Arob. Matthews was only a slot WR though, Pittman is not.

I don't see Allen Robinson in him. I'll give you Jefferies and Matthews.

Just curious as to why in regards to Arob? Their measurables are identical (Pittman actually had faster 40) neither guy is super twitchy they both win with contested catches and with great body placement. Both have great Ball-Tracking/Awareness.

Brady kelly who's opinion I value regarding WRs comps him to Arob as well (same with Eric Crocker)

When them guys do comparisons it's usually based off of measurables and not their game style.

To me Allen Robinson seems like a YAC guy. From what i seen from Pittman that's not his game. Pittman is a faster Keyshawn Johnson.

Again, not saying Pittman is a bad player. Not saying i wouldn't take him. Just i wouldn't touch him before day 3 and there's likely a dozen WRs I personally would take before him.

If he's your cup of tea that's fine. He's just not mine.

Brady kelly is a top end WR draft analysis. He is not just going off measurables. I recommend you read/follow his stuff.

Arob wasn't in the top 50 among receivers regarding YAC.

Hey if he's not your cup of tea all good. IMO his game is dead on for a guy like Arob.
