What concerns me is he looked absolutely like the real deal WR1 in 2018, but really underwhelmed in 2019, let alone shown any improvement as a true outside receiver vs gadget player. Given the year he had this season, really needed to bank on him as a size/weight/speed prospect, and imo, he really underwhelmed in that regard from a height and speed standpoint. Still a worthy gamble, but id stay away in the first round. Any word on injuries?

The medicals are the most important thing for this dude. His medical sheet is scary af. We don't need anymore "if he's healthy" players. We have enough of those.

A lot of truth here. How often do receivers actually run at full speed unless they have the ball and are being chased. They are more concerned about running the right pattern and avoiding the DBs that clog the lanes. Maybe on a hail Mary at the end of a half or end of game but other than that you don't see guys sprinting like they do at the combine. Not to mention they aren't wearing aerodynamic body suits and starting from a sprinters stance.

It's a shame because Laviska might be my favorite WR in the draft.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the 49ers drafted Laviska. They've shown that they're not afraid to draft players with sketchy medicals.

This. No more injury prone and no more guys that have a passive demeanor like Pettis. I want dudes that are relatively healthy and straight up killers.

The injury itself isn't a biggie, guys bounce back from it all the time like Bosa did but it just fits a continual pattern of him having constant injury issues. Not sure you can be confident in being able to depend on him to consistently be out on the field for you.
