Laviska Shenault - WR - Colorado

If another team wants to draft him earlier than that, that's on them. That said, dude is the most tantalizing boom or bust WR prospect to me.

Id take him in the late second round. But I agree with most on here that he's not worth where he will likely be picked so he's probably not coming here.
His 2018 tape was pretty dang special. He was my WR1 going into the season.

He was the most productive WR in the country for the first half of the season. It just shows how dominant he can be when healthy. Their was no question who the ball was going to either. He's a stud. I hope he can stay healthy as a pro. He'll be fun to watch.

over Jeudy? no way

That's the biggest difference between him and Samuel in my opinion. That, plus the injuries make me less of a fan of him. Sure, he could be useful in our scheme, BUT.. I do have doubts that he would be able to be a true #1 or a consistent producer for us.

Yeah it's not that I dislike him. I dislike where they have to draft him. I'd take someone like Reagor/ Aiyuk/Mims/Higgins over him and I like the value of Pittman/Jefferson/Johnson/Hamler later vs taking him earlier.

Totally agree with you and especially Hero in that he is the absolute definition of boom or bust. I don't feel like we can risk missing on a WR at this point.

Preseason, yea. But now, Ruggs takes the crown

I got Ruggs as WR1 but I don't see how you could have Shenault over Jeudy heading into this past season.
Apologies in advance for the crappy hip hop music. This dude has some good things going on.

If they truly are concerned with Hurd's back could they look at Shenault as the chess piece they wanted with Hurd?

Draft one injury prone guy to replace another injury prone guy. Has a nice sort of symmetry to it.

i mean his injury is the same as the guy they drafted #2 overall. but point taken

Its not just this current injury, he's had a continual pattern of injuries and his style of play doesn't make me optimistic that the pattern will change in the NFL.
Greg Cosell seems to be a fan of his. Says he needs route running refinement but is explosive and can okay the X, Z or big slot.

Probably didn't help that they had him run the wildcat, and other running back plays.
