To keep this draft specific, how does Moores talent/potential compare to this draft class?
Moore is an elite athlete with crazy length. He just needs more coaching and reps (at one spot).
Ward has been amazing back there this yr. takes great angles and is a elite tackler.
Is Moore the long term answer at FS, or do the Niners need to use their minimal top draft capital on the position?
I'm all for BPA, but I am hoping for IOL or WR depth at the top of the Niners draft board, especially if they believe in Moores potential
Moore has great range and I think good ball skills, but I definitely question his tackling across the board -- he is aggressive, but he doesn't consistently wrap up and other times takes terrible angles. Small sample size though, and to be fair, it's usually just a small handful of bonehead plays in an otherwise good game he's had.
Definitely could be better, but he SHOULD be better going into year 3. Nothing wrong with drafting a guy high to push him and compete for that starting spot. Every position needs to be earned. I think he's good enough to start though.
I think we should go with the best player available between DE, WR, IOL, CB, S, or LB. All of those areas could use improved quality of depth at the very least.
