Or mid 20's after a trade down (Jefferson) not saying we should or shouldn't. Just saying I could see it

Oh my! The melt down we'd have on our hands

Not really sure if that information means anything, would be helpful if there was a comparison to years prior. Just from cursory look IMO all it tells you is the type of offense they ran in college, like a QB who only plays out of shotgun and doesn't play under Center.

Compared to others Aiyuk didn't get targets/yards on In routes, Slant, and Crossing routes. You have to account for ASU had a true freshman QB with an elite RB, every team we faced stacked the box with 8. So of course Aiyuk was used either on screens or deep routes.

Those stats are over the course of the past two seasons.

So?

Do you know ASU offense very well?

Teams stacked the box the prior year and Aiyuk was almost exclusively screens in his firs year

Edit: the routes a WR runs has a huge deal to do with the offense a team runs. To extrapolate that data into what a WR can do in the NFL is a huge mistake

I'm not saying aiyuk is a gem or not. I just think looking at that data is mostly meaningless

If you think the data is meaningless (I do not) that's fine that's your opinion. I'm still gonna post the data good/bad.

Also, I never said that he only ran two routes. The data just shows what routes he was targeted most on and what ones he made most of his yards off of. It's just more information. I like him and this was never meant to say he was a s**tty WR or anything.
Still my favorite value WR in the whole draft. This guy is exactly the kind of WR that would flourish in this system.

Indeed. Aiyuk has grown a lot on me since I started watching him.

Yep the more and more I watch of this guy, the more I like him. His skill set fits this offense like a glove.

Especially considering what NC brought up about the limited targets any rook is going to see. Give us a YAC guy who can maximize his targets. Not too mention able to add a few touches in the run game as well.

He's actually my favorite after the big 3 and he's great value if there at second (barring we trade down) Mims/Reagor are also in the conversation after him so I'm not sweating out on the big 3 as we will get a heck of a player in our lap at 13.
Its Ruggs,Shanny talked to the guy at the combine, this has the same feeling as with Deebo from last year, after seeing Hill burn the niners in the superbowl....ughh Shanny has got go get Him a Hill of His own,..I can see it now Ruggs on Jet Sweeps killing it ,taking it to the house....yes sir Ayuik is a Good WR but He`s not something special like Ruggs or Juedey and to those WHO think that the 9ers are not going to pick a wr at 13 you are going to be very dissapointed
