IMO, Brandon Aiyuk, Jalen Reagor and Laviska Shenault are the top day-two 49er WR targets.

Replace Shenault iwth Hamler, add Higgins and i'm in agreeance. That is if they don't trade down from 13 and go Jefferson

I like Jefferson and we did met with him...not sure he's anything more than a slot WR though Same with Hamler. They need a outside X WR.

Again you're thinking about where a player lines up wayyyy too much vs how kyle will use them and how they will affect the offense, even if they don't touch the ball on every other play.

I have no idea why you keep trying to do this lol?

There's a difference between if a player CAN do it at every spot at WR vs them only being capable to play one spot.

All three top WRs can play flanker, spit end and in the slot. Jefferson/Hamler aren't regarded as split ends at the next level. Which is what we're looking for.

Nice try though

WR Devon Duvernay, Texas
WR Justin Jefferson, LSU
WR Lynn Bowden, Kentucky

We're or you?

Jeremiah loves Aiyuk and bumped him to #24 overall on his big board as his #5 WR. It sounds like he needs work as a route runner, but he's got impressive physical tools at 6'0 205 with a 6'8 wingspan and 9 3/4" hands (bigger catch radius than Jeudy). He's very explosive (40" vertical and 128" broad) and awesome after the catch.

Lamb - 9
Jeudy - 11
Ruggs - 12
Jefferson - 14
Aiyuk - 24

Mims or Aiyuk could be good options at either 31 or a trade down from 31.
Give me Thomas and Aiyuk

So outside of Jefferson a bunch of day 3 WRs? At that pt they had the 31st pick in the draft and a bunch day 3 picks picks....wild they've looked at day 3 WRs

If you don't think this team needs a true split end then you're just lying to yourself.

But again, you said it's what WE'RE looking for. When in fact that's not really the case. In terms of their visits. Which is all we can go on correct? There aren't "day 3" prospects that can play SE? Why are they mainly looking at slot type WRs?

Raegor and Ruggs could also quantify as slot WR. Not saying they can't outside. Just saying they fit with the rest of the prospects they've looked at.

Argument can be made that even Collin Johnson's best fit is as a big slot.

It's ok to admit you're wrong every once and a while. There's no shame in that

You don't know every single player SF has met lol.

Talking to a dude for 2 mins at the SB and combine is just that a quick talk. Again 90% of those WRs are day 3 picks. Maybe just maybe they're focusing on players that they know will be around when they're drafting?

It's really ridiculous how hard you're trying at this pt...for someone who keeps saying they don't want to have a convo about this you keep trying too.

Tell me who there starting split end is?

I have to keep talking about it because instead of saying i guess you're right or i see your point, My bad, i misspoken. You put another quarter in the merry go round.

I dont know who all we talked all we can go on is what was reported. What has been reported doesn't fit your narrative that SE is what WE'RE looking for. It's what YOU'RE hoping for.

Acting like a bunch of day 3 prospects points to who they truly want is a reach imo.

Again who's are split end?

All we have to go by. They had/have every opportunity to talk to the Mims, Higgins, Pittmans and Aiyuks but as far as we know they did not. They opted to look at WRs that don't fit your narrative.

As for who the split end is..... Kendrick Bourne correct? We can't predict future targets to people ot even on the team. You're also constantly worried about labels. A coach like Kyle can get you tbe ball regardless of where you're lined up.

Outside of Ruggs they haven't spoken to one single person that's looked at as a top 15 prospect or at the least they haven't reported it....They did the same s**t with McG a couple yrs ago. They never had a official visit with him at all. If your rebuttal is this is all we have to go off of...then they aren't planing on making a pick inside the top 50 lol. 90% of the players they've spoke to are day 3 guys.

Do you not get how important the split end position is to kyle's passing game? There's a reason he move up for Pettis and went after Sanders. He NEEDS a WR that can beat guys off the line (and has speed). Pettis can do that, but he can't do anything else required to play the position. Bourne isn't a elite XWR not a single person will agree with that.

You can't scheme up s**t for every single pass-catcher to get open, especially not at the X position.

Look I got not problem if they decide to move down. I think if a elite WR is there they should think long and hard about it.
