More WR coaches I talk to, more I believe Aiyuk will go in the first. No holes in his game. Stud. https://t.co/csn69QrLUi

Brandon Aiyuk is one of draft's fastest risers because of how electrifying he is with ball in his hands.

Dominated on kickoff & punt returns at Arizona State & in 2019 gained more yards after contact than any WR eligible for this year's draft.

Arizona State WR Brandon Aiyuk, a possible first-round pick, underwent a core-muscle surgery today performed by noted surgeon William Meyers, sources say. Aiyuk has been dealing with the issue the last few months. Ran 4.50 at the Combine. Decided to fix now with no OTAs in sight.

Will this affect his draft stock?

No. He ran a 4.5 *with* core and groin injuries. Never had an injury problem in season.
There's no OTAs to miss anyways. Should be a non factor.

I mentioned earlier that this could have affected his time with these injuries. Plays way faster on tape. My first choice after the big 3. Honestly, I like him after Jeudy and Ruggs relative to where he gets drafted

5. Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State: "The definition of a playmaker is a player who turns small plays into big plays and that is exactly what Aiyuk can do with his dynamic athleticism, projecting similar to Emmanuel Sanders (his skill set, role and impact) at the NFL level."

Also:
NFC personnel executive: "Lamb, Shenault and Aiyuk aren't your natural, traditional, fluid, route-running receivers. They're almost Anquan Boldin types, but today people say Deebo Samuel. You get the ball out quick, run after catch, end around, slip screens, that kind of stuff they're doing so much more now of with receivers."
Makes a lot of sense that the 49ers would show interest in all three, although Shenault's injury issues could scare several teams off.

Which is precisely why he'll be a 49er.
