He's easily a 4.4 guy. Turn on the tape.

Except instead of extra picks we lost picks. So in fairness my reasoning was washed away by the trade up.

Your acting like that cant resign the players who contracts are up people s**t on Wetherspoon but before his injury he was playing great there is no guarantee that a corner that was on the board when we picked would turn out to be a good player

I'm not against Aiyuk by any means. The point is you gave up two other swings at the plate for players. Especially since the player you grabbed was playing one of the deepest positions in the draft. Would no other decent player at wide receiver been on the board at 31?

Also Witherspoon has been more bad than good and Moseley is just as likely to regress as stay decent.

Moving up for this guy

We basically said goodbye to the rest of the draft.

None of those dudes were making the team. This isn't 2015.

Yeah you're right we couldn't find a guy in the 2nd or 3rd that could find a spot on this roster lolz. We couldn't find a guy that could upgrade the OL or maybe a CB that could be on this team.

Stop.

What could be the complaints about him? Besides not having the best competition. If he was in bama, he would've been a top 15 pick.

He's a perfect fit for this team. And he could be used exactly how we used Deebo, putting him in motion pre snap. Getting him some sweeps for huge chunk plays. This is an explosive group of guys.
He's probably somewhere around 30-35 in terms of value, but the reality is IMO he is a perfect fit for KS.

But but but this draft is so deep with WR's!!

That's what I was told lol.

Quality over quantity is what we were told.

Probably the most Shanahan-y WR in the draft. Just can't pass that up after going so hard after Harry last year.

I hope you didnt think too hard coming up with that evaluation! Waste of brain power!

He wouldn't have been there at 21, you cant prove me wrong.

Kyle got the guy he wanted.

The salary cap is set to explode, and you're worried about signing corners?

Seriously just use your eyes and see he ain't a 4.5 guy

He's not gonna find space like he had in the pac-12 to run around. Dude has to get stronger at the catch pt, massive reach with no picks to burn. Hate it

To be clear, I did not want to move up here. But you have to consider Kinlaw was always the target, not Wirfs, whether we traded with TB or not. We gave up a 5th to move up and grab shannys guy. Not a bad strategy at all, IF they value Aiyuk highly, and the guys on our roster in areas that we as fans feel have question marks

shannys guy. like hurd taylor pettis garcon.

Didn't give up a 5th. Gave up a 4th and a 5th. Don't discount the 4th. It was throwing that pick away.

This was a bad disappointing draft. Time will tell. But wow coming off a Bosa Deebo draft (even not yet knowing what they'd do), this was the exact opposite. 2017 again.
