There isn't room for more than 3-4 new players as it is.

You don't move up to pick 25 and basically remove all chances of getting more picks so you can scheme a dude open.
You can find guys like that later. Reach when you don't have the picks to reach imo.
I would argue that his role is at least as much about allowing Kyle to maximize the other skill players. He can do what Goodwin was supposed to do, and be much more versatile than Goodwin at the same time.

I was just giving the worst case scenario that Kyles plays will definitely get this kid open. This kid got some serious dog in him. You're gonna see big chunk plays like we got out of Deebo.
And I disagree anyways, hell yea you can move up to pick a guy that'll take advantage of being schemed wide open. Give him some space and he's got the ability to take any play to the house.
So his competition wasn't the best, neither was his QB, or line or anything else on his offense.
Who can you find like him later?

I hear you but not I'm not sure 7-8 rookies would have made our roster anyway.

That was our only possibility to get more picks though. We went from possibly to actually taking away more picks lol.
So basically SFs 2020 draft is kinlaw and Aiyuk. If you think that's a job well done AFTER trading Buck more power to ya. I do not.

The trade is another thing. We've shown that we are willing to overspend for specific players. It hasn't always worked. But I think this guy is gonna for a lot better than anyone of our trade up picks so far.
I hope I am wrong...is he good enough to throw away the rest of the 2020 draft though? That's basically what they did by moving up.
I can't defend the trade but I can defend the player. He's gonna get open. I love his slant route.. his deep routes are clean, he's better after the catch than Ruggs and I've said that.
I don't like how much we gave up at all. I think that's a weakness of Lynch is that he gives up too much. But at least we get good players

Yeah if they felt that desperate then keep Sanders in free agency and cut Goodwin

Seeing several posters saying this. Why is that?
Route running, speed, hands, a beast returner. YAC for days(had more than even Ruggs).

Buck was gone no matter who we drafted. Not sure why he has anything to do with your evaluation of our draft. Our roster going into the draft did not include Buckner.

I love the pick, iffy on trading up. But Kyle's teams rarely get a receiver in the first, so I think he has big plans for Aiyuk.

holy s**t phoenix! lol
Unreal. Dunno I've seen such a specific accurate prediction. Have a beer, lad.

Again,...are you guys not realizing the guys that havent been able to work out the past several months that would have moved up the boards?
A # of them will not be drafted. It's more likely now that those late round picks be misses by teams.
Look @ the big picture!! If you're scouting is on point,...this was a great night.

What? You could easily get rid of Pettis and Witherspoon plus all the other fringe roster guys

Who's not gonna get drafted because they didn't workout that's worth a damn?
