From the stats I saw he had 1 run in the last 2 years in college

apparently Aiyuk was #1, Lamb was #2. Fascinating.
Well, I did say that ultimately the 49ers have to follow their board. So if that's true, they crushed it. I feel like I've been burned by them trading up, but 3rd time's the charm.

Well, this is one Niner fan who's loving the draft so far...Kinlaw should become a real beast once Kocurek gets to coach him up. I never bought into using a committee approach to fill the huge void Buckner left. This pick is the only thing that made sense...and to keep the DL elite. Aiyuk's an excellent WR...didn't get the hype of a lot of others, but avg. 18.3 ypc. I'll take that any day. The huge smiles on Lynch & Shanahan's faces told me everything I need to know.

You think they're gonna say their draft pick isn't the #1 on their board?

This is a fair point. passing on Jeudy and Lamb though is kind of telling. I mean there is a chance Ruggs could have been and he clearly wouldn't have said that

The only thing he's admitted is he had CeeDee as the top dog of the big 3. Given the trades made I believe he had Aiyuk near the ceiling as well.
I dont think he would've been scared to admit he had Ruggs high if he can mention CeeDee,...so Kyle sounds very believable.

Well talk is cheap, but they gave up a decent number of picks (which I complained about) to move up. So that speaks louder than words.

Watching his highlights and he looks faster than 4.5. I think I read that he had a core muscle injury. I wonder if that dropped his time? His very and broad jump scream explosive, so maybe those are still lower than his true potential because of a core muscle.

He's absolutely faster than 4.5.
Didn't Jerry Rice run a slower 40 than that?

You try to bench 20x with a 81" wingspan.
What if he is wide bodied. That body could be 40" and his arms could be 20.5" each.
They should go based off vertical reach from the top of their head. Dude could have a short body and a long head and be 6' but his shoulders are only 5'4" high and his head is 8" long.
Just saying: need more info.
