What if he is wide bodied. That body could be 40" and his arms could be 20.5" each.

They should go based off vertical reach from the top of their head. Dude could have a short body and a long head and be 6' but his shoulders are only 5'4" high and his head is 8" long.

Just saying: need more info.

Not sure why YOU need more info but here.

Other measurables for Aiyuk include an arm length of 33 1/2 inches and hands that measure 9 3/4 inches.
I think his 40 time is super deceptive... his game tape shows all he does in run away from dudes. His game speed is much faster. Im excited for this dude.

Arm length is a little short for a left OT, may have to move him inside to guard
This feels like a boom or bust pick. That being said, he certainly fits the Shanny mold with RAC and being able to line up wherever you want him.

I admit to being disappointed at first, however there are things to consider when looking at player valuation, and this is how the process seems to work:

1. The media initially salivates over certain stars and you begin to see other players rise in value as the college football season goes on.
2. The media's talking heads begin cementing their favorites and those players get promoted heavily on tv and the internet over a few months.
3. The media keeps feeding on each other to the point that they ultimately start eating each other's cooking and there becomes a consensus on player rankings within their circles.
4. Meanwhile scouts, coaches, and GM's predominantly insulate from the chatter and form their own opinions based on film, evaluations, and interviews.
5. When a player is drafted outside of the medias herd-mentality consensus, the media loses it and can't handle that a GM disagreed with their superior knowledge.

Didn't Bosa have a core injury last year?

Yeah and missed the rest of the season. Meanwhile Aiyuk ran combine tests.
Aiyuk toughness > Bosa toughness

Very much so
Should I be worried that N'Keal Harry sucked in the NFL? Harry was also considered a YAC guy, no? I like Aiyuk a lot more because I think he gets better separation and is more dynamic, but man do I worry about the level of competition inflating the perception of his on field play. Too dependent on screen passes?
I can't believe some faithful s**tting on this pick. Look at that guy, he's a beast.

Aiyuk is a better prospect. I wasn't a big fan of Harry due to his limited ability to create separation. Aiyuk is a much better fit for this offense.

That said, its way too early to close the book on Harry who missed so much of his rookie year. Compare early season Deebo to late season Deebo for example. Actual snaps are invaluable for rookies.

A little bit.

Saw a report of scouts saying they felt Aiyuk was the better prospect than Harry. And I see why. Looking at Harry's college tape, he doesn't get nearly the same separation. He made some cool jump ball catches. But it's not a surprise he didn't get separation in the NFL in his first year when he couldn't get it in the Pac12. And when he ball was in his hand, it was nothing compared to the ball in Aiyuks hand. Night and day different.

Either way, the jury isn't out on Harry . He Desperately needs to get better in off the line of scrimmage considering he doesn't get the most separation anyways

I feel like they're opposites. Harry was a contested catch guy. Aiyuk isn't that. He can separate, I'd like him to be more physical when he's gotta go up and get it and deal with those CBs that are just as quick as him.

I'm gonna be ripping pissed if he turns into Pettis 2.0.

Aiyuk toughness > Bosa toughness

So you're saying you expect Aiyuk to miss time?

his contested catches was my only concern. Then i seen a stat where he, Jeudy and Ruggs were the lowest 3 in terms of contested catch target percentage. He was 2 of 8. Not like he had a ton of chances there. And one of the misses he had the ball over 2 dudes and lost it when he hit the ground.
