I kinda think the "intel on another team" is just mind games they use against other teams. I mean, obviously they're experts at playing mind games if they keep getting teams to move up one freaking spot to select someone we weren't going to pick anyway.

I truly believe Raegor was back up plan at 31. Once he went off at 21 it was like "OH s**t" let's get our guy

I don't think Raegor fits the Kyle's new WR type. He seems to favor a more physical RB-playing-WR type now (See Hurd, Deebo, Aiyuk, Jennings). No more soft speed guys anymore.

Makes sense that if the league is going to go to 225lb linebackers and 7 DB alignments to stop the pass then we're going to try to hit guys instride over the middle and force these undersized LBs and DBs to tackle.

In case there was any doubt, Chris Simms confirmed that Kyle Shanahan told him before the draft that Brandon Aiyuk was their guy.

AJ Jenkins was really good at ripping the ball out of the air and not losing speed. Smooth as silk with no Vernon Davis hop

Reagor is closer to a RB playing WR than Aiyuk. Dude is anything but a soft speed guy.

Jerry Jeudy is the cream of the crop when it comes to overall route-running in this class. That said, you can argue Aiyuk is the best deception artist in the 2020 crop.

Aiyuk consistently earns leverage against corners before revealing his true intentions. He gets them to open up their hips the wrong way and then in second, breaks the direction he's heading. The stop-and-stutter move he unleashes on go routes regularly fool his opponent into thinking a curl is coming. In the second they waste trying to jump that route, they've already lost.

This not only shows his intelligence as a route runner, but it also reveals plenty of potential as an NFL deep threat for this player. You can have all the speed you want but if you don't show some of those traits like Aiyuk does, you're not winning the vertical game in the pros.

MAN!

Doesn't Aiyuk have more receptions, yards, and TDS than AJ had in his career?

To be fair, pretty much anyone who played 25+ games in the NFL has as well. Jason Hill had more receptions yards and TDs in his second year than AJ in his career. And Jason Hill wasn't really that good.

I wish we still had Josh Morgan
Not being a homer, but he's objectively a legit WR. He's proven it in year 1.
He's good!

Absolutely he is playing great, he really is a good compliment to Deebo, Kittle and the running game.
