Teach me about the top 5 Tackles, stat.

Haven't watched much OT film other than Andrew Thomas. Thomas made Khalid Kareem and Julian Okwara look like easy work. Almost looked bored. The only damage those guys did was when they lined up on the other side, abusing the RT, who is talked about as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. So, that's saying something.

Impressive. He's very likely to be there at 13. Jedrick Wills could also be in play. Both for RG to start.

Mekhi Becton is basically Trenton Brown so we know he's out. Tristan Wirfs is expected to go first.

So if Kyle pulls a Mike McGlinchey again, it'll be one of these two.

Why would he very likely be there at 13? You got at least 4 teams ahead of us that need OT help and you got teams like Miami (who had a buttload of picks) and TB right behind us that can easily move ahead of us to get whatever tackle is left.

Imo drafting a guard to play guard is the more likely scenario

I'd say Willis is the one exception. He has the traits to be an elite RG in our scheme. Ruiz is the top true IOL in this class and seems likely to go anywhere from 15-32, depending on teams with IOL needs, but Willis could be elite at RG or RT from what limited tape I've seen. I wouldn't be totally surprised either way. If the guy we want isn't there at #13, we can trade down and still get a really nice prospect.

Think DAL takes a lineman in the 1st with Frederick's retirement?

I actually think there's a chance that Ruiz is there for our 2nd pick at #31. In that scenario, it would be very tempting to take him even if there are trade back options
Last year there was a lot of grumbling that the Niners didn't take an O-lineman earlier in the draft but the major problem was that there weren't many quick athletic linemen among any of the top prospects. This year seems different, some very good athletes. You absolutely never know how the draft boards will fall (See Raiders Ferrell at #4 last year). Wirfs is such a freak athlete...a guard who can move like that is pretty insane. Jimmy was getting happy feet as the season progressed with too much pressure in the interior.

Nah, they resigned looney (one of the last Niners left from that 2012 draft lol)

I think they go secondary or DL

Ruiz played some Guard his freshman year and did a great job.
Day 3 prospect Jack Driscoll our of Auburn

He's 6-5 311 and will more than likely push inside. He's a scheme fit for zone blocking has good hands and has no issue getting to the second level.

He's got to get stronger, Lacks length, and is a scheme fit only OL

Played most of 2019 injured
