It says his worst trait is his pass protection. Yikes, I don't know how you determine whether the dude can do it or not if it's not on tape. I think the most important aspect of pass pro as a RB is will. If a player is willing to stick their helmet under a defender's chin or get ran over, good coaches will take that all day. But it's impossible to figure out if a guy is a puss or not until you see him do it.

Can't pass pro=can't play in Kyle's offense.

One guy that makes a ton of sense to SF is Darius Anderson from TCU. He's a prefect fit for our blocking scheme. He's not the worlds best RB in pass-pro but IMO that's something that can be taught.

Go watch some of him. He's a late day 3 guy

You're talking about him like he's a conventional RB. He's a converted WR that had more receiving yards than rushing yards the past season. In terms of instincts and vision I think he's a better runner than Hurd but he'd likely play a hybrid role in the NFL. I haven't seen anything that makes me believe that he couldn't develop as a blocker given the appropriate coaching. He certainly didn't hurt himself in that regard while at the Senior Bowl.

He's a pure playmaker that you can line up pretty much anywhere on offense with a lot of upside as both a receiver and a RB.
The thing is we already have guys like that. That's how they envisioned using Hurd, and how Kyle ended up using Deebo. I think we have clear needs in regards to the offensive skill players: a deep threat.

I wouldn't even waste a draft pick on a RB. Shanny's system literally had Mostert playing like the best RB in the NFL down the stretch. Normally, I'd be leery of a one-year wonder, but Raheem Mostert looked every bit as good in 2018 before he broke his arm.

Shanahan and the 49ers gave McKinnon a hefty amount of money to acquire a RB/WR type player. McKinnon may never suit up as a 49er and there's no other RB with that combination of skills.

Gibson doesn't have Goodwin type speed but he has shown the ability to take the top off a defense.

And don't get me wrong--I just started watching his tape, and I love everything I've seen so far.
The boy is a gamer. Niners could pair him with Deebo anywhere on the field.. Would be a steal if we could get him..
Need more break down on him....where is he expected to be drafted? Looks like same mold as Deebo and Hurd

Wow, 4.40 at 228 lbs. You've got my attention.

I thought he'd be faster. Dude flies out on the field.

He's the 3rd heaviest WR but he's tied for the fastest time run so far.
