Bradlee Anae EDGE, Utah

He looked awesome at the Senior Bowl today...nobody could come close to handling him. Utah's producing more & more defensive players...like good CB's, can't have too many elite PR's.
Solid third round grade on him, could go as high as the second to a team that falls in love. But a quick recap of what you see in him: Outstanding hands, well below-average length, not elite but above average athleticism. He's got the right tools to always have a chance to win his one-on-ones, so that means he's got a chance to be at least a solid pro. Not an elite prospect by any means, but a solid player who at least appears like you could expect him to play on par with his draft grade.

Better than Corey Lemonier anyways.

I can see that. Ingram has super short arms too, but like I describe Anae, has every other tool to beat guys one on one. Ingram struggled against longer OL like McGlinchey and Trenton Brown for obvious reasons, but guys like him and Anae can be major contributors if utilized properly. If Anae isn't getting home, start using him on stunts and I think you up his chances of getting through.

I'll be interested to see how he does at the combine. Ingram's 3-cone (6.83) and shuttle (4.18) are top end #s for a 265lb DE. IF Anae can get something like that it will boost his stock even more. Not sure he's that quick though.

Agree, which is why it makes sense at this point that he's seen as more of a day two prospect. Those measurables are a big part of what propelled Ingram into being a 1st rounder. Anae, who has longer arms than Ingram, has football bloodlines (his dad played in the USFL), and that's always a major plus in the eyes of scouts. If he can post upper tier numbers at the combine, who knows just how much his stock can rise?

Depending on when the other edge rushers go, I think he's a 3rd rd prospect as of now. Having a great combine could push that up.
