I think offensively, Kyle's got it. He can get low rounders or undrafteds to fill in on the OLine (if Staley retires with a Super Bowl ring) or a guy like undrafted Kendric Borne (for el Gato Pettis). I think a day three pick for Richburg would work. Otherwise, we still don't know what we have in Hurd.

On the defensive side, I'd go with a top flight edge rusher that we can get in the 32'nd pick (worst/best - case scenario ) Now if the sweet spot for edge rushers is in the lower rounds, then by all means - trade down. Afterall, Charles Haley was a 4rth rounder anyway.

Had the screws on his head are tighter, the talented kid would still be with the team. Plus, it doesn't matter how many picks we have in the future, it's really who we draft that counts..

They don't have a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round pick, so yeah, moving up isn't happening.


At this point they need to look at adding picks, not trading them away. In the coming years they will have to start paying people out huge money deals and they won't be able to keep everyone so keeping the roster stocked with talented young players on rookie contracts will be essential if they want to be more than a two year fad.

Quite the dream scenario. Dobbins late R3 and Pittman late R5 has zero chance of happening. I've seen Johnson projected as R2 prospects, wouldnt think he'd last til R6.
