Lots of talented receivers on the West with some real interesting front seven prospects on both squads. With the possibility of AA leaving next offseason, bringing in at least one pass rusher will be a priority. Nice list.
I like a lot of what I've seen from Wilcox. If he can be as fiery of a blocker as he is a pass catcher, he could be a very, very, very good TE at the next level. In limited review, I can tell he's serviceable at blocking but has a lot of room to improve there. Doesn't have the strongest base or leverage to hold ground against a lot of defenders.

That thread is more of a generic gameday thread. This thread is specifically for prospect discussion/review and practice report discussion, which is a lot more pre-game.

After 2nd thought I realised the bold.
Hopefully the Mods will leave it be.
The first measurement for the 2020 class has been entered onto the database! Shout out to @RicSerritella for putting the numbers out there for everyone. pic.twitter.com/wxKZsoAkx0
1:45 pm ET: Both Miami LBs Shaq Quarterman and Mike Pinckney are really struggling in coverage drills. They are continuously getting beat by RB/TE.
1:55 pm ET: Very impressed with West Georgia DT Auzoyah Alufohai. Looks really strong and has been tough to handle.
1:57 pm ET: SMU safety Rodney Clemons made several nice plays in one-on-one. Do not sleep on this guy.
2:00 pm ET: Berry College WR Mason Kinsey is looking good in the early going. He runs terrific routes and catches the ball very well.
2:25 pm ET: FIU's quarterback James Morgan looks good. He is on the money and has great timing on his throws to brand new receivers.
2:28 pm ET: Michigan's Mike Danna looks the part and has made a few nice plays, especially in one-on-ones.
2:30 pm ET: Michigan CB Lavert Hill just made a great play in full scrimmage, knocking a pass away. I like his ball skills a lot but speed is a big question.
2:35 PM ET: Syracuse DE Kendall Coleman has shown some great edge speed but cannot get off blocks once he's engaged with opponents.
4:15 PM ET: Oregon's OL Calvin Throckmorton is lining up as a guard during West practice and looks very natural. Love his vision, awareness and blocking feel.
Prospects the 49ers Met With: Florida punter Tommy Townsend, SMU safety Rodney Clemons, Miami linebacker Michael Pinckney, San Diego State cornerback Luq Barcoo, Stanford linebacker Casey Toohill, FIU Quarterback James Morgan
Interesting we're looking at a punter... Barcoo is a really impressive prospect though. Plays bigger than his 6-1 175 frame (doesn't look 175 either). AP All-American and led the nation in PBUs. Great fit for our scheme too. There's a lot to like with Clemons' game too. Terrific form tackler and a heavy, heavy hitter.

On Monday, Central Florida cornerback Nevelle Clarke showed an impressive skill set and a ball-hawking mentality. Clarke breaks on the ball quickly and decisively. He understands route concepts and has no problem finding the ball and knocking the pass away. Clarke knocked away some passes on Monday, but he also had an interception off a tipped pass over the middle. He left his man when another defender's responsibility batted the ball up in the air. Clarke showed great athleticism to adjust and make a play.
9:55 AM ET: WR Mason Kinsey runs outstanding routes. He is quick, sinks his hips, and is always on balance. He has a great WR technique.
10:00 AM ET: Yesterday, I mentioned Michael Pinckney's struggles in coverage. He's rebounded today in drills and looks good. I'm told Pinckney is also dealing with a hip injury that must eventually be fixed.
10:05 AM ET: SMU safety Rodney Clemons is again making a lot of next-level plays in coverage.
10:10 AM ET: UCF running back Adrian Killins is displaying killer quickness and footwork. He has defenders grasping at air.
10:15 AM ET: CB Lavert Hill was reduced to almost making an open-field tackle in order to stop Kinsey out of his route.
10:20 AM ET: Rhode Island G Kyle Murphy looks really good. He has great fundamentals, smarts, and blocking vision.
10:30 AM ET: Murphy is having the best practice of any blocker from the East today.
3:05 PM ET: SDSU's Luq Barcoo is struggling again. He is slow in his transitions while showing limited speed and getting beat.
3:15 PM ET: Like yesterday, Baylor's Bravvion Roy is starting strong again. He is blowing up double team blocks and penetrating the line.
3:25 PM ET: Oregon's Calvin Throckmorton is showing even more versatility. After lining up at guard yesterday, he moved further inside and is playing center today.
3:30 PM ET: Fresno State's Mykal Walker is lining up as both a 3-4 OLB and 4-3 MLB. He is looking good at both.
Interesting that Barcoo and Pinckney both struggled yesterday, yet both are two prospects we specifically wanted to speak to. I'd love for us to consider Bravvion Roy as a prospect since it seems very likely that Jullian Taylor won't be ready to go next season -- and even if he is -- probably not at the same level. Roy could be an upgrade.
